Ive removed everything. lets hope for a good outcome in Nevada. Im depending on the campaign HQ and the NV meetups who did so much hard work. Let them make the decision

First I want to say I have
First I want to say I have been a registered republican all of my voting years. But after this year that is probably going to change. (please don't attack and call me a troll!) All I can say is after the debacle in Nevada I don't think I can any longer be a part of this old guard organization. If there aren't major changes in the GOP, I believe they are going to shrink and shrink until they are completely defunct. I will support Ron Paul to the very end but after November, I doubt I will be registered republican. New Hampshire, Iowa, and Super Tuesday were all bad enough, but at least the deceit took place behind closed doors. The total disregard for rules in Nevada was right up in your face and the old guard "won." In my opinion though, what they really won was a mass exodus of ambitious and energetic people that could (would) have brought the party back to life. So after this November I will say goodbye to a party I have (had) supported and start looking for a party that actually wants what is best for the country.

I'll be frank. Lawyers are ruining this World. We have (very few) courageous ethical attorneys in this country. The political arena(s) are littered with the selfish bums. Yup in general, its the lawyers and their leaches. Just remember, RP is not the Silver bullet. Ground up... See how many politicians are lawyers, with all their lawyer jokes. Like RP, we could use a courageous group of ethical attorneys to attend to these mis-deeds. I'm afraid that the needed lawyers are afraid to fight their peers???

Susan Lowden is the one who pushed the idea of shutting down the convention. Some people are signing affidavits saying that she said she wanted to shut down the convention before it was even getting close to 6pm.
Susan Lowden is telling the Nevada Ron Paul supporters that we have to pay 10,000 to get the list of delegates for the new convention. Bob Beers told a Ron Paul meetup group in LV that the McCain camp has paid this.
If you want to help then help research FEC records of the McCain camp doing this.

I am disgusted with Mr. Muth and have butted horns, albeit mildly, with him before on one of his blogs. The NV media is notoriously liberal...my gosh, they even find ways to back Harry Reid. In reading this article, please continue on down to the comments and read the reasonable comment submitted by spinnikerca. I think spinnikerca would be a much more accurate reporter than Mr. Muth. Sorry, I try never to look at personalities, but this time I can't just overlook his obvious bias.
By the way, they did rerun old TV clips criticizing the democrats...the same one several times. They did waste a lot of time...I was there and was very anxious to get on with things, to vote which was my sole reason for being there...and I sincerely believe "they" purposefully delayed the proceedings when they realized "Houston...in the case.. "HQ...we have a problem." They did turn off the lights and the audio system and say "leave." Sorry, that dramatic and uncalled for end to the NV Convention was just such a traumatic turn of events, it is hard to get over it. I don't think there is a RP supporter who was in attendance who will let this "go" easily, and sorry Mr. Beers, agreeing to the position of the party by voting in someone who placed 3rd in our State caucus in the hopes that 10 or 15 years down the line we can reposition the party, will not save the sovereignty of this country.

Threats go too far but I can see why people are complaining and quite loudly. We had a train rolling down the track because our supporters did their homework, were well organized and Dr. Paul's powerful speech helped to sway Romney and other undecided supporters to our side. Dr. Paul was going to take the vast majority of delegates until this Neo-Con hack broke rules and ran for cover.
Call me untrusting but the Neo-Con's have given me plenty of reason for this. We will get far less Nevada delegates than we would have and worse rules because of the Neo-Con's ducking and covering.

I never advocated for deletion of anything. I simply state that calling folks to arms before we know the whole situation is bad, bad, bad. All sides are trying to come up with a solution that is palatable for all (but, of course, ensures victory for their own side). This can't be the case, obviously. However, I think we, the delegates, will be able to force the Nevada GOP to be fair. IF we are not, that would be the time to discuss lawsuits and other methods of appeal.
That said, a ton of nasty letters and cries for the heads of the guilty will only polarize people against us. We need to be seen as calm and interested people who are in it for the good of the party, not rabid johnny-come-latelys who will abandon the party as soon as our guy disappears. This is the truth we should be focusing on right now.

Just how many of the GOP around the nation really understand the team they are on. Do they know what they are fighting for and what we really want. There are always so many misconceptions and the media has played such an outstanding mind game. Most people do not believe that the media, the papers, the schools, the radio, all the neocons and everyone can possibly be wrong. They think since we are the few, that we are just radicals wanting to put us back into the dark ages. I think we need a panel of excellent speakers to be explaining up close and personal with these groups what is really happening.

Discussion includes typical feet dragging, a $10,000 price tag for a list of delegates and very little positive news in my estimation. I agree that there should not at this point in time be accusations and threats- but unless someone can explain it to me differently I just see mor posturing and corruption from the usual suspects and am more disgusted wuth the GOP than before I saw this.

but I don't have time to sit through 9 videos right now. Sounds like it is more of the same/just different day. I'm not registered as a Republican right now, and I'm not sure if I ever will unless I see some real changes occurring. Unfortunately, at the time they needed Ohio delegates I wasn't able to do that because I didn't register Republican because our primary was open. Probably a good thing, as I don't think I could put up with this kinda crap very well.

Hes polite and sympathetic and at the end admits he agreed with the decision to abruptly halt the meeting...because blah blah blah -the only reason to abruptly end the convention for reasons that were available to mention all day was because we were winning. He didnt get elected by not knowing how to be nice and do nothing. He promised a delegate list and suddenly cant get it. If he wanted it he could. Seems Ron Paul manages to pull up legal anomalies everywhere he goes. Next the dog will eat the corner of the master copy of the ballot with Paul's name on it before it makes it to the printer, or there will be a lic./ registration roadblock out side the convention that ironically only stops people with RP bumperstickers so they miss it. Disgusting.

I think the deletion of these threads was uncalled for. Granted I did not have a chance to read them, so I am not sure what was in them to require deletion.
I guess my first question is what was in the threads to require them to be deleted?
And, my second question is how am I to understand what has occured if such threads were deleted?
If the comments being made to these threads was the problems, then I respectfully request that these deleted threads be brought back for viewing, but disable the ability to comment in them.

first order of business at atny convention where you have the majority: Remove the chair. Might want to start using some of those tactics from the Griffin post to get the other delegates on your side.

I don't think you necessarily need to delete the threat, but, again, I would urge everyone to be calm and wait for facts. I appreciate that you've taken my message to heart, NotOverYet. I hope that everyone will consider it.
It's not just the campaign that's dealing with the situation. There are Republican County Chairs that are upset over the way things happened. There are delegates from the State Convention, like myself, who are helping out however we can. Yes, certain paid or unpaid members of the Ron Paul and John McCain staffs will be consulted regarding whatever plan NRC leadership proposes. Whether their opinions will be considered is another thing entirely. In the end, it's up to the grassroots to get all of the delegates back to the Convention as educated and organized as possible.

Senator Beers sounds like the typical politician at times. In a way, he pleas with the Ron Paul supporters to submit to the decisions of the RNC so that "in 10 or 15 years" we can gain control.

One reason they are so unwilling to accept what they hated (RP getting the delegates) is because they know their counterparts all around the country were successful in pulling fast one after fast one. I suspect they feaar they are going to look like fools who got duped if they can't measure up to what has been done all over the country. They don't want to be the main failure in the country.
