I hate this. Instead, there should be a bill that insists that they go back through ALL of the old laws and if no constitutional "ok" then they trash them. Well, I guess you do need to stem the tide first...sigh...
The Enumerated Powers Act
The Enumerated Powers Act will likely just be the first step. Once that becomes law, then they can propose another Bill requiring each and every Congressional law on the books to be reviewed for constitutional authorization.

When I first began visiting dailypaul last summer, this type of information was plentiful. To me, it is one of dailypaul's most valuable functions. I saw a long post about this, but didn't have the time to read it all; just caught your post, and now I see: it's about forcing Congress to cite what portion of the Constitution allows them to enact the laws they are proposing.

We don't force them to do it, so they don't.
