Federal Rebate Check (comic relief)

The federal government is sending each and every one of us a $600 rebate. If we spend it at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China. If we spend it on gasoline, the money will go to the Arabs. If we purchase a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car, it will go to Japan. If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep the money here at home is to buy prostitutes, weed, beer and tattoos since these are the only products still produced in the USA. Thank you for your help and please support the US.

Support your local farmers' market (but make sure the vendor grows his/her own stuff)! Not all veggies are grown in Central America. And we're a threatened species, too--threatened, that is, by ever tougher government regulations and corporate welfare given to the giant factory farms.

Our Politicians Contempt of Us and the Constitution
This demonstrates how dumb our politicians think we all are. Our country is borrowing a billion dollars a day, and these fools are going to send us money! Exactly where is this money coming from? How do you give away money when you have to borrow to pay your bills?
It is being printed up! More worthless federal reserve notes to flood the economy. Now that's what I call economic stimulus.
FDR stole the American people's gold in 1933, and our politicians continue to perpetrate this crime against the American people.

I totally agree with you Greg, that's why I'm going to be putting a good chunk of my rebate check into real money. Gold and Silver. I don't know how long the wheels can stay on this rolling train wreck, but I want to be holding something of real value when our Fed Reserve Notes won't buy a piece of Bazooka Bubble Gum.
