No Treason:
The Constitution of no Authority
This is hands down the most fascinating book that I have read on the Constitution. Ron has actually made reference to Spooner in a few interviews (Cavuto, and Scarborough County)! Though I'm not sure if he has read this book.
Q: Who won in your opinion?

Cut to the chase.
I don't have the time or interest in reading that. I scanned a bit of it. It appears this clown doesn't believe the Constitution has any relevance except during the lifetime of the founders? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thomas Jefferson as well
Jefferson said that the Constitution did not apply to future generations. He said: "No society can make a perpetual constitution or even a perpetual law. The earth belongs always to the living generation." And also said "Every constitution then, and every law, naturally expires at the end of nineteen years. If it is to be enforced longer, it is an act of force, and not of right."
Wow that's interesting
That man's insight was so ahead of his time.
Spooner's thesis
Yes, that's a correct summary.
So far I haven't came across anyone able to refute his thesis.
ps. why you slingin' circus insults at him dude?! He's very highly respected in the libertarian community (ie. LRC, Mises.org, and RP has name-dropped him a few times as I mentioned above).
I am
Fortune Favors the Bold
a big fan of Lysander Spooner
bump..
anyone else?
