I ran into some communists tonight... funny story...

So tonight was this big Looptopia event in downtown Chicago... I live downtown, so I figured it would be impossible to avoid...

Anyways, at one point I was outside a Barnes and Noble and there was a group of 4 or 5 people screaming loudly... something about Revolution/Communism... I thought it must be an anti-China group or anti-Communism thing or something (it sounded like they were calling for a revolution against communism)...

Anyways, I then noticed the red flags and figured they must be pro-communist (they were all really creepy...).

So, just for fun, I went up to them to see if I could get some of their literature... They were really excited that somebody was actually willing to listen to them. But then I found out I had to pay for/buy their stuff. That seems like an oxy moron almost... a group of communists screaming for the end of free markets and capitalism and here they were trying to sell me something....

Anyways, I told them I was already a part of a Revolution, a PEACEFUL revolution: The Ron Paul Revolution. They tried to argue about how capitalism was evil... I told them that we don't have capitalism, we have corporatism, which is essentially fascism, which is evil. Being something of a libertarian, I obviously would disagree with communists... then the walk light changed and I had to move (I was with other people), otherwise I would have gladly argued and won with them.

It makes me think.... shouldn't our meetup have been out there passing out information about Ron Paul?
