SteveU: a new-tactic troll

As we have recently noticed, the trolls and disinformation agents have graduated to a new tactic: instead of attacking Ron Paul or the message of liberty directly, they are now breeding division and dissension among us, getting us to attack EACH OTHER over side issues such as "9/11 truth", intelligent design vs. evolution, etc. ---- all very emotional issues that do not bear directly on Ron Paul's campaign or the Revolution.

Case in point: This "SteveU" who insists on spreading his ugly and hate-filled anti-9/11 truth mesage. For the record, I am not a 9/11 truther as usually defined. However, this troll does almost NOTHING but repeatedly post his hateful trash over, and over, and over, in a clear attempt to split us apart.

DO NOT LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS!

And note the last line in his anti-9/11 truther website:

"(c) 2008 Council on Foreign Relations"

Need I say more?

Call this troll out, and let's all give him a well-deserved boot in the ass!

He really doesn't bother me.

I ignore him.

He has, on occasion, posted some interesting comments. He's not CFR. He enjoys the reaction he gets from people. SteveU is s computer geek and a libertarian who served in the Navy and lives in the Houston area but might have been originally from New York. I think he's also bitter about a failed attempt at running for office. He dislikes people who don't think for themselves and will call them on it. People give him far too much credit.

He was a Paul supporter, but, for whatever reason, I believe he supports McCain now.

He seems to be a permanent fixture here -- reappearing about a week after being tossed out. If he's going to stay, we need to learn to live with him. Why bother to take the time to shout "troll!!!" -- ignore him if he bothers you.

He can't divide us. We can only divide ourselves. If you know something is divisive to the group, why post it? If Ron jumped on to Daily Paul, I'm not sure he would be so proud of us at times.

Peace

He uses the tactics of the evil one.

Ghengis Khan

Maybe it's just me, but...

...doesn't anybody have any self-control, anymore? If a troll (or suspected troll) posts something divisive, so what? Big friggin' deal. That doesn't mean it warrants ANY response, whatsoever. It's this constant urge that some people apparently feel, to argue incessantly with these trolls that just feeds their egos (and keeps their stupid topics at the top of the list). Try ignoring them, and maybe - just maybe - when their topics don't get ANY bites, they'll get bored, and go look for someone else to annoy. Seems worth a shot...

Just ask former CIA, NSA and FBI personnel

IF.... you have any doubts about 9-11 -- go search the web. While there is always much disinformation about False Flags, the vey fact that so many former CIA, NSA, FBI, and Mil Intel persons are coming out in public stating that it appears to be an inside job should cause people to think and read for thmselves.

A constant tactic of a disinformation campiagn is to call those who dare to question -- by nasty names -- kooks, nuts, weirdos, etc. Always the character assassination -- never debating the facts.

Since they got away with 9-11, I would expect another big False Flag to send us into Iran.

There is chatter in the Intel Community that Bush/Cheney may stage a False Flag to cancel the election; I pray to God they will be stopped. There is some hope to that. They were stopped with the missing Nukes out of Minot (google WayneMasenreport.com) to read about that one.

There is no oil shortage; there is plenty of oil; worse yet, is that the oil companies, and the Feds --- have the formulas for 100 mph engines, and free energy.

naw, the truthers are annoying

A number of people continue to post lots of misinfo on 911, and then get mad when someone calls them on it. Isn't posting about 911 what prisonplanet.com is for ? There are plenty of truther websites for you to go to for this information.

If you want to be active in 911 truth it is your business, but keep it out of the Ron Paul movement. I don't blame SteveU for calling people out about all the crap they spew here. I tend to agree that the link between RP and 911 truth has been a net negative.

I agree and disagree

I agree that people who want to be active in 911 truth should find venues outside of the Ron Paul for President movement. Dr. Paul himself has made that pretty clear, and I think the truthers have done a good job of toning it down, especially around here. But I disagree with you for defending SteveU. You say that he's "calling people out about all the crap they spew here". This guy SteveU is looking to start a fight with 911 truthers in a current thread. SteveU will then, under a different user name, start another thread about how everybody is a stupid fucking asshole because they don't believe 911 was an inside job. Akak is right. This person using the handle of SteveU is a trouble-maker and that's what he's here to do.

His "tag" about eliminating truthers from the campaign

is just something to start a fight among RP supporters.

He is entitled to his opinion, but other people aren't? If they disagree with him, they have to be "eliminated"?

It'd be like Christians running a tag saying "eliminate atheists from RP's campaign", or vice versa. Or like homeschoolers running a tag saying "eliminate public school advocates from RP's campaign", or vice versa. The list could go on and on.

RP supporters do not all hold the same beliefs, or even all of the same beliefs as RP, nor do we have to. We can disagree on beliefs and still behave. Running an "attack tag" like he does is not behaving.

Good for you, akak, for speaking up.

The difference is that Ron

The difference is that Ron specifically asked all those who care about him to stop linking him and his campaign to the 9/11 Truth movement.

Ron never told the atheists or public schoolers to pipe down.

Ron Paul Explorer: The All Paul Search Engine

As Gil above points out, truthers HAVE toned it down here.

Besides, while there may be plenty here who question the official version of 9/11, who here is actually "linking him and his campaign to the 9/11 truth movement"?

Sorry, I'm just not seeing it.

What I do see is some who use divisive tactics of trying to pit supporters against each other over it and then people who try to play the diplomat and come to their rescue when they get nailed for it.

Can Manystrom do something about it

There are so many trolls in this website its not funny. Thats what made a lot of people run away.
RonPaulWarRoom.com also became a haven for trolls.
ZERO MODERATION DOES NOT WORK

Perhaps Michael can trick the trolls into arguing until sunrise and then he can jump up and say, "Dawn take you all and be stone to you!"

That's the way I imagine it happening, anyway.

I support Steve not because I agree with him, but because I'm so sick of people BRANDING others as "trolls" just because they have an opposing viewpoint.

He is misguided. He's no troll.

Whatever you say, but

Whatever you say, but unfortunately, branding people with troll is overused and its REPUTATION DAMAGING.

Trolls

Actually, I believe there have been relatively few here ---- but those few have been very disproportionately active and damaging. I do not make the charge of troll/disinformation agent lightly, and have been willing to watch and let them really dig themselves a proper hole before making it. I held my tongue regarding this SteveU for a while, but after a certain point the facts were obvious.

Lots of people have, over the last months, argued the pro- and anti- 9/11 truth topic, but I never labeled any of them trolls. It's only because this SteveU is so vehement and frequent with his divisive posts that I decided to do so. It has become irrelevant if his intentions were not divisive ---- they have become so, in spades.

this tactic

Fortune Favors the Bold

has been going on for a long time

Well...

I continue to assert Steve's right to tell others to shut up.

Not that such distractions are helpful when the Senate has passed a bill to collect DNA from all children born in the US and track them and their families.

Ron Paul Explorer: The All Paul Search Engine

Really? you "continue to assert Steve's right to tell others to

Shut up" That's odd to me because you most definately could not handle it when I told you to....(:shut up:) a few days ago......practice what you preach man it shows character....

Meistersinger, does that

Meistersinger, does that bill MANDATE the collecting of DNA from EVERY newborn in the USA?

I believe it does

According to LRC

"A Critical Analysis of the Implications for Genetic Privacy and Consent Rights in Congress’ Proposed ‘Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2007’" states how the government plans to treat the DNA of every newborn, even those whose parents are completely aligned with the mainstream:

* Establish a national list of genetic conditions for which newborns and children are to be tested.
* Establish protocols for the linking and sharing of genetic test results nationwide.
* Build surveillance systems for tracking the health status and health outcomes of individuals diagnosed at birth with a genetic defect or trait.
* Use the newborn screening program as an opportunity for government agencies to identify, list, and study "secondary conditions" of individuals and their families.
* Subject citizens to genetic research without their knowledge or consent.

See:

Ron Paul Explorer: The All Paul Search Engine

i did hear a report

that stated this practice started 34 yrs ago in the U.S. with newborns,,,,the hospital collects three vials of blood at birth, one is specifically for the dna bank it was said,,,,,something to think about,,,,that makes it very easy to be framed for any crime if a person had access to the dna and a mind to do so..

Looks that way

According to this, yes, akak.

Here are the bills: H.R. 3825 and S. 1858

Suddenly comes to light why that other bill was just overwhelmingly passed that everyone thinks is so great -- the bill that makes illegal discrimination against people based on their genetic information -- they put that through because they know full well that they will begin testing everyone's DNA.

Don't think it will stop at newborns only.

Good catch akak....

called keepin your eye on the ball... ;)

oouuu

SNAP!

CRACKLE

and POP goes the weasel!

I am with Akak SteveU is beyond a "Troll" I think he may be in
