Ron Paul -- The Occult

If any of us die hard Ron Paulers have experienced this -- please reply.
My first round of trying to educate my friends was met with the usual whatever attitude.
My second round was met with "what's going on with you"
My third came with (what to me was a shocker) this must be an occult.

My thoughts WOW -- Dr Paul teaching me about liberty, teaching me about freedom. This is an occult. Yes America is dumbed down.
How can this be . . . . Some younger than some of us are so taught to feed from the provider, and some are strong enough to say this is posion.

I think your clueless friend meant
"Cult", not "Occult".
Cult is a small religious sect.
Occult, which means "hidden", usually refers to pagan practices and doctrines such as soothsaying, necromancy, numerology, Kabbalah, witchcraft and the like.
That's not to obscure the fact that some cults can be into occultic practices.
By the way, neither term applies to the candidacy of Ron Paul.

After trying to open my daughter in loves eyes over months unsuccessfuly, she finally said she was "worried about me, that she was afraid I was in a cult and ended her little lecture by telling me not to drink the koolaide".
If it weren't so sad it would be funny but she's my sons wife and the mother of my dear grandchildren.
I don't often hear the word "occult" used..

Who is the occult? Us (the Ron Paul supporters) or the sheeple? I would say that it is the sheeple. They are blind to all the bad things that are happening around them, they do not question that which is unjust, they are basically brainwashed to believe everything that is said to them by the powers that be.
They are quite different
from one another - a cult and the occult .... anyway, point taken -
I have experienced the same complacency in people - apathy perhaps...
they are satisfied with the government being in charge ... passing down
their crap - they think this makes them secure (?)
so live in fear and their government will make it all better ....

When feeding a baby you do not give him/her steak and wash it down with some vino.
Be aware of the indivual(s) that you are dealing with. Play along at first if you need to. ACT LIKE THEM... in the beginning. Then hit them with little bits of Freedom Food. A nice puree... Some will like it and some will want the squash rather than the banana. Once you figure out each individual's taste than they can graduate to even more of a mouthful until they have grown up (awaken) enough to eat the steak. Remember, the media and ignorance run rampant around the land.

I have heard us called "a cult," but not "occult." Personally I have not faced it but just as bad.
Some Ron Paul voters from the primaries now say they don't believe that the MSM is "owned" and that everyone is brainwashed. They don't believe we are going to have martial law, nor do they believe we will become fascist or communistic. They think that globalism is necessary in a small world like we have today and is a natural progression. They don't believe secret groups are running everything. They don't believe the government had anything to do with or used 9/11. They don't believe our schools are dumbing down the kids. They think that everything is fine and the economy will regain its footing. After all the market is over 13,000 again. They don't believe our government is operated by an elitist group. They do not want to research it because it is a waste of time and they just want to live their lives as they did when they were growing up. They don't believe in chemtrails or biogenetics. If all this was true, they say they might as well stop living-life is not worth living that way and they don't want to talk about it period. They think soo many people cannot be on the wrong side of things and it just isn't realistic to do what Ron Paul wants to do, everyone opposes it, so it is too idealistic.
That is what I am fighting. But they don't call it occult or even a cult, yet anyway.
Friday - I was on the phone with my Ernest & Young advisor
I have like (a ton of money) in my retirement package and Ihave been loosing money for the last 9 months and he was telling me how I can't base a 20 year investment in whats going on today. OMG I was like you don't get it -- I don't think the american dollar will survive another 2 years. He said and I am so totally not kidding. We are up over the Candian dollar. And I said do you know when I was a kid, we threw away the canadian dollar. Is that suppose to make me feel good. He so did not know what to do with me. He sent me few videos for me to watch so he did not have to talk to me.

I've encountered the same situation - but I've also managed to inspire a good number of my friends as well - I do believe its contagious. Some may just take longer to understand.
I'm 25 and sadly people of my generation just aren't that interested - but that is changing. Lots of arm chair patriots out there. They may not have bad intentions but they are playing right into the hands of the welfare state mentality. "Revolution is just a tshirt away" to these people - to quote Billy Bragg.
We know its harder then that - and will likely only get harder. But what an honor it is to be a part of this and to be surrounded by such amazing people of such diverse backgrounds and opinions - liberty does bring us together.
