Thomas S. Foley: yikes! Google him! He's worn a gazillion hats in the government, and has received "honorary knighthood" from Britain, awards from Germany and Japan (I think from France, too). He's definetely NOT our friend.
The Federal Courthouse here in Spokane, WA is named after him. Also a library on the campus of Gonzaga University is named after his parents, who donated several million $. He was the democratic speaker of the house for many years.
