Hammer These Barnes & Noble Contacts - Get "Manifesto" Out Front

Barnes & Noble bookstores need some 'guidance' on stocking and placing "The Revolution: A Manifesto".

Tell 'em it's NUMBER 2 on Amazon's Best Seller List in less than a week.

They need to stock it heavily and put it out front with a big display.

I think '14' represents web based sales.

I don't know....
But I DO know that it's a very competitive business with shrinking margins. So any customer feedback should get some executive reaction.

B&N Ft. Myers, Fl

I bought my copy this past Thursday at B&N in Ft. Myers Florida. They had two copies out and they were in the middle of the store on a table with other political books. I searched the whole store and it took me about 35 minutes to find it. I thought it was odd that they only had two copies out.

They are not hiding it well enough

It's number 14 on their best seller list.

it's true

Fortune Favors the Bold

barnes and noble does not make it easy to find.

The newest release by eleven term, Congressman Ron Paul, titled “The Revolution: A Manifesto”, released April 28th, is currently No. 1 on Amazon's web site list of top sellers, besting even Oprah’s latest Book Club selection.

CNN Political Ticker:
April 30, 2008
Paul No. 1 on Amazon.com
http://politicalticker.bl...
“Despite a media blackout, this septuagenarian physician-turned-congressman sparked a movement that has attracted a legion of young, dedicated, enthusiastic supporters . . . a phenomenon that has amazed veteran political observers and made more than one political rival envious,” boasts the book’s product description, adding: “Candidates across America are already running as ‘Ron Paul Republicans.’”

Thousands of Dr. Paul's supporters around the world are complaining that Barnes & Noble is not doing a very good job of displaying and stocking “The Revolution: A Manifesto”. It's hard to find and not at all well stocked.

This important book made its debut on the NYT best seller list at #7, which tracks the previous week.

Here is the type of customer experience that we are finding typical at B&N;

On May 2nd, 2008 BIAS2112 says:
My Barnes and Noble experience was horrible. After searching all the obvious places for the book..new release table.etc, I had to go to cust. service. The attendant was obviously an Obama supporter. I asked for the book by title and she was like "Revolution of a manifesto"? and I had to spell it out for her. As soon as she saw it was Ron Pauls book, she was all snotty and had to act like it was a chore to show me the book tucked away alphabetically in the shelves of Politics:current affairs section. Bought my two copies! Complained to the manager about her bad customer service.

On May 2nd, 2008 cvazmom says:

I went to Borders today to check out the display of best sellers, etc. and buy a copy of REVOLUTON. It was no where to be found. I asked at the assistance desk...he walked me upstairs to the back of the store and on the bottom shelf I found 6 copies. I thanked the clerk and asked why an Amazon #1 best seller would be up here and he laughed. You've got to be kidding he said. I took all the books with me. Bought two and placed the rest on the shelf with the Tolle book (Oprah's book club best seller) right at the front of the store! :-)

You should expect heavy contact until your company makes the correction.
