They just quietly introduced bill after law after regulation that just slowly, quietly ate away people's freedoms until they're now a distant memory. The only people in Britain with guns are a few grouse hunters and the criminals, our production sector is in crisis because of crippling European regulations on trade, we are absolutely swamped with Eastern European immigrants - many of whom are living on government benefits, there's a major credit crisis (that no-one seems to see), both local and national government have a ridiculous amount of control over private property, you can be jailed as a terrorist if you're found with household items that can theoretically be used to make bombs, there are completely warrantless - 'random searches' - where you can be stopped and have your person and vehicle thoroughly searched (on the off chance that you might be a terrorist), we're the most spied on country in the world (one fifth of all the CCTV cameras in the world are in the UK and the average person is taped over 300 times a day), they're talking about a 'fat tax' because of the National Health Service and supermarkets are blasted if they stock unhealthy food, schoolchildren are currently having their DNA taken and put on record, as are people ACCUSED of crimes. And to top it all we have a thing called the Council Tax, whereby local government, not answerable to anyone, can demand arbitrary sums of money from you (and we're talking about over 1000 pounds a year - over 2000 dollars). If you dispute a payment demand you need to pay it first and THEN dispute it and if you refuse to do so you go to jail.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU GUYS!! Socalisation is a plague - it makes people lazy, destroys personal responsibility, takes away your rights and makes the population WAY too easy to control. Britain is a pale, pale shadow of what it once was. Our ancestors would be horrified and ashamed by what we've become.

I've been shouting about this for years and no-one in Britain has any idea what's happening there. They're so easily distracted. And that's why I'm currently on the other side of the World.
