HERE IS AN LDS LETTER FROM HQ THAT MAY SWAY ALOT OF VOTERS...READ AND SEND TO ANYONE WHO MAY NEED TO SEE THIS!!!

Dear Fellow Latter Day Saints,

"[The Constitution] is the keystone of our nation. It is the guarantee of our liberty. That original document, with the Bill of Rights, constitutes the charter of our freedom. - Gordon B. Hinckley "Keep Faith with America", commencement address, Weber State University,Ogden, Utah on 6 May 1999.

My plea to fellow Latter-day Saints who were supporting Mitt Romney is to stand for a real, genuine constitutionalist, Dr. Ron Paul, for President of the United States in the caucuses in my home State of Washington, tomorrow .

- What General Authorities Have Said:

We know the Constitution was divinely inspired. It was intended to preserve liberty (free agency) and limit government. President Ezra Taft Benson, President Heber J. Grant, President David O. McKay, President Marion G. Romney, President J. Reuben Clark, and many, many other general authorities have warned us in Conference and at other times over the years against the moral fallacies of socialism and all its "softer" versions.

http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/...
http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/...

We have been warned it is wrong to have the government take money from one individual (taxpayer) and give it to another as an "entitlement"; and that it is wrong for government to grow endlessly in the guise of "doing more for us." ( http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/... )
As President David O. McKay has stated, ( http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/... ) we have gone far into "the soul destroying land of socialism." (We have gone much farther since his passing). Ron Paul is the only candidate for president who has clearly shown he knows how to lead us out of that land.

- Dr. Cleon Skousen's 101 Questions:

Dr. Cleon Skousen, a nationally recognized constitutional scholar, created "101 questions to ask someone running for office" to determine their understanding and adherence to the Constitution. ( http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/... )

Ron Paul is the only candidate for president who could give the right answers to that survey, based upon his knowledge and his record. Dr. Skousen on Ron Paul: "What we need is someone like Congressman Ron Paul who really honors the Constitution."

- Ron Paul's Record:

Ron Paul never votes for a bill unless it is expressly authorized by the Constitution. He has never voted for a tax increase. He has never voted for any of the unbalanced budgets which are mortgaging the future of our children and grandchildren to the tune of $200,000 a piece.

He is the only candidate for president addressing the warnings issued by David Walker, the Comptroller General of the nonpartisan Government Accounting Office--- the government's top accountant, who tells us authoritatively that we are careening into bankruptcy. - http://ronpaulwa.com/lds/...

- Defending America:

Ron Paul knows the Constitution does authorize a military to defend us. He supports the troops, and they support him--- giving him more financial contributions than any other candidate. He believes in defending us from terror, by direct action and a better foreign policy. He knows that having our troops stationed in 130 foreign countries while our own southern border is wide open does not make us safer.

- Who is Ron Paul:

Ron Paul served his country as an Air Force Flight Surgeon in the Vietnam era.

Ron Paul is deeply religious, but quietly so. He is family first. He has three children that are doctors. He has been married for 51 years. He was the first candidate to publicly object to the tactics of another campaign seeking to use the issue of Mormonism against Mitt Romney. He is a quiet, humble man, a rarity in politics. He is highly respected within Congress because of his consistent, principled voting record.

Please make a statement tomorrow for principle-based leadership. As President Clark pleaded with us, "STAND FAST BY THE CONSTITUTION." It's our future. Visit http://ronpaulwa.com or call 206-801-0161 for more information.

Lew Moore is Mormon?

I had no idea.

I am. And if any of my fellow Mormons would actually heed the words of the LDS prophets and scriptures, they would know that only Ron Paul, of all the candidates presently, is the man to choose.

But most LDS people toe the GOP Establishment line. If RP was the GOP nominee, they'd all vote for him. But then again, if John McCain is, they will all vote for him (of course I say all, but I really only mean 99.44%, since some of us will not).

does anyone know how to contact LEW Moore??

can you imagine if he wrote a piece on the FLDS and the insanity of it?? He has millions of supporters...

He is not working for the

He is not working for the campaign any more. He and his wife are now working for the Dino Rossi campaign (Governor elect of WA state) My fellow RP supporters and I are not yet convinced he's a viable candidate to support.Definitely comes across as slick and doesn't tell you anything like Mitt. I was disappointed to hear they are supporting him.

hes not?? are you sure? I just left him a voice mail on his

vmail at campaign HQ....where did you here that , and do you know how to get a hold of him?

I guess this went in the paper

But I think he has the children wrong?

I like the post below from the LDS. You sound so level headed. You said you could write more. You write so well that I think you should be writing all over these United States, fast and furiously. Letters to the Editor in any and every paper, if nothing else.

I'd like to hear your take on what is happening in my good state of Texas right now. Yes, the state is good--the governor, mmmm.

Texas Governor

I heard he attended either a Bildeberg meeting or went ot the Bohemian Club. I cant remember which. I thought that was telling back then...

I'm in!

I'm LDS (Mormon) and I'm 100% behind Ron Paul even to the point of writing his name on the ballot if I have to. I can only thank Mitt Romney for one thing. He got me interested in politics and made me start doing my homework. Doing my homework, I learned from some very prominent/educated LDS members (i.e. Cleon Skousen, Ezra Taft Benson). These men were very well educated and strong advocates of the constitution in the tradition of our inspired founding fathers. Thanks to their teachings, I was able to vote for Ron Paul over Mitt Romney in my state primaries. I'm so thankful that Ron Paul has given me the opportunity to vote for a genuine principled politician.

I still don't know what to think about Mitt Romney. I'm sure many of you have some tasty words that come to mind when hearing his name and that's understandable. Thinking about what is going on in his head I've thought some different scenarios that I would like to elaborate on (at least I will feel better for writing it down :-))

1) He's been 100% NeoConned - This is hard for me to believe, but it's
possible. He's the only politician that is running for president that belongs to a religion with scripture warning of "secret combinations" that seek positions of power and are good at deceiving many (i.e Skull n Bones, Bilderbergers, etc.). The LDS are supposed to be watching and warning others of these groups. Sometimes I feel so alone at church wanting to say so much but I know what the reaction will be. I try not to describe them using the prideful term "sheeple" but it fits the majority of them all too well.

2) He's fighting for the establishment's vote not ours. He was trying to deceive those secret groups to think he was one of them. Maybe he knew all too well that we the people no longer decide who is president. Once he was in a position of power he was going to execute his personal righteous agenda whatever that was.

3) Another "Wolf in sheep's clothing"? I hope not, but he's sure got a lot of evidence against him

Overall, it seems that he was going to be another "professional do-gooder" forcing his personal righteous views on all of us and on the world weather we agreed with them or not. It's kind of ironic how he said so many times that he wouldn't take orders from Salt Lake City. He sure wasn't lying when he said that because if he was taking orders he would have heard every prophet even back to the founder himself say so clearly to fight for and maintain a government based on the constitution in the spirit of the founders.

I would love to say more, but my post is already too big. I'm not even sure if anyone will read it.

good intelligent response...

are you in Utah, or Washington??

Neither.

I'm from McCain's Home state and I'm ready to BOOO him off the stage this coming weekend at Arizona's State Convention.

do you have a lot of LDS supporters of Ron PAUL out there?

It seems many of the LDS are somewhat passive in their support(not all of course..!!!!) of political figures... I am wondering if you have any strong liberty minded pro freedom LDS members in your area. or in your meetup group (if you are with one)

Reason I ask is like the American Indian the LDS members that believe in something strongly carry alot of clout....

if you want more details of this (of what I mean by clout) email me
at contact@coasttocoastmoneybomb.com

Still not sure how many...

I've been in the process of starting a new career, moving to a new location in Arizona, and getting educated on "correct government principals" that I have not found the time to find other true LDS patriots. I'm sure there are some and I hope to find who they are. If you don't already know or for anyone that doesn't know it has been a while that the LDS Church has taken a strict neutral ground on politics; so, it is frowned upon having an open political discussion in classes or in the main meeting. This is partly due to the fact the LDS church has registered as a non-profit tax exempt organization. They would be in violation for taking any stance in the political realm. Makes it a little more challenging to spread the message of freedom. Ezra Taft Benson, thirteenth president of the church, was the last prophet to try and rally the saints around the constitution. Here's a link to one of his talks. It's pretty good, almost sounds like Ron Paul's rhetoric just uses different terms to express the same ideas. The first 10 minutes is church stuff so skip over it if you want.

http://www.latterdayconse...

The general membership collectivity ignored/rejected this message so the leaders was commanded or chose to speak no more on the subject. For me, true Christianity cannot be separated from learning and fighting for correct government principals. I miss Ezra; he was one of my favorites. The only thing that the leadership say now is to study the constitution in the spirit of the founding fathers and fight for those who support it. It just boggles my mind that the LDS parallel so well with many biblical civilizations that also ignored their leader's message. The majority are assuming that Mitt Romney has already done his constitutional homework ;so, by voting for him they have already done their patriotic duty as they've been taught. The whole thing makes me ill. My close friends here in Mesa are such staunch supporters of Mitt Romney that they almost view me as an apostate (Mormon Rebel) for voting for Ron Paul. Their conversion process to Ron Paul has been slow but I can't/won't give up until they ask me to.

Since then, the church leaders have started preaching a new message: Temporal Preparedness. We are supposed to learn to be self-sufficient in all thinks, stay out of debt, and have long term food provisions in the home. Even with this wise council, only a few are following it. Most are following it completely in faith without understanding for the reasons why. Many of those that do not follow this council are justifying themselves thinking that it has to do with prepardess from a natural disastor (a possibitly), but if such things happen we can alwasy ship food from another place right. They have no idea that this council has almost everything to do with preserving our freedoms when/if the time comes. I will do my part to make sure that time doesn't come for at least another generation, but as I try to wake up all those around me it seems that the moment of truth is a lot sooner than later.

Prepare for the worst and fight the best.

Oh yeah, "LDS having clout", I think I know what you mean. Does it have anything to do with their pride because they've supposedly learned something that few others have? It's embarrassing to admit, but I've had this mentality at times. The humility that Ron Paul has had is such a great example to me. I've noticed many truth seekers, including myself, look down and despise the ignorant or the sheeple because they don't understand our awful situation and in fact making it worst. It has required a lot of work on my character to not feel this way and to maintain Christlike feelings towards my fellow man.

Just a comment on your last part

about looking down on the sheeple and despising them. I used to get angry and I was confused why no one could see what was obvious to me. I never depsised them or looked down on them though. How could I blame them, when they didn't realize and where blindsided with the brainwashing propoganda? Heck I thought I was crazy and reading more into the happenings in the world. When 9/11 happened I wondered out loud how long it would take Bush to declare war on Iraq. I knew he was itching to do it, and now he had his excuse. Anyway, you can't despise and look down on the sheeple because most of them aren't aware of what has happened to them and why they think the way they do. I feel sad mostly for them because they don't know who they really are and they are really terrified of who that may be. And they are really terrified of the world. The live in a world with out depth and get scared when you try to show it to them and very confused because of what they have been taught to think doesn't match. Tend the flock of sheeple watch over them, educate the ones that show interest, and the ones that challenge ask them questions that make them think and provide them with facts. Be gentle with them as they know not what has happened to themselves. I get angry once in awhile, because it can be frustrating trying to explain what is going on. Keep up the good work, and I'm glad to see that some in the LDS community are aware what is going on. I also find it very interesting that you mentioned that the leaders are now preaching the prepardeness. I've lived in the Mesa area most of my life and I know how involved the LDS community is in the local government and other things. And no I'm not LDS.

thanks for your response...

the "clout thing" is not what I meant....I can see that thought though.... Arrogance or having the feeling that one knows more than another is not the type of clout I mean......yes some LDS have a "better than though attitude", but many are not that way...

...it has something to do with actually believing that miracles and powerful events can happen...... Almost all true Native Americans believe this as well..due to their upbringing.....this belief put behind a truly good venture....with good intentions and heartfelt belief can make a huge difference...in the outcome of that venture.

Many people "hope" for a good outcome in whatever they are striving for. While others actually have an ability to make that goal happen...

this is an example of the clout thing.

I wonder if he actually sent

I wonder if he actually sent this letter to anyone. I hope so. He sure ought to be doing SOMETHING...
