Then there are all the other songs and artists. We can call it FREEDOMFEST2008 or PAULFEST2008 and combine all those seeking the truth and a change in our nation's direction.
We had a Blimp and a Championship Fighter
Let's hear what you think.
Either way I am going to start making a new web-site for it tonight. It MUST be done!

Somebody should talk to Neil Peart
Rush's music embodies all the ideals of the revolution!!
'Live for yourself, there's no one else more worth living for,
Begging hands and bleeding hearts
Will only cry out for more...'
US artists
I love Rush too, but we need to stick with US artists only.
RUSH is...
one of the BEST bands ever. Neil Peart is a big Ayn Rand fan. Rock On!
Rush?
I know that Rush has had many overtly-libertarian song lyrics for decades, but after extensive exposure to them for about thirty years now, I can never grasp how anyone cannot find their music hopelessly lame! They have some of the most tired, uninspired, BORING music I have ever heard! My own personal Hell would be having to sit outside in Miami summer weather for all eternity, eating McDonald's and listening to the "music" of Rush. Sorry guys, but good lyrics do not make up for poor music.
Unbelieveable that he said that
Rush are the most talented, virtuoso rock musicians out there..obviously you don't play an instrument
"WOW"....
thats interesting I have the opposite reaction. Thanks for your opinion though.....different strokes for different folks.
Chaseric, I don't doubt you
Chaseric, I don't doubt you at all ---- I've have friends whose all-time favorite band was Rush. I've also know people whose favorite food is fermented beaver tail. Maybe it's just me, but I was just always left thinking "so what's the big deal?" after hearing their music.
fermented beaver tail.....
yuuuk! I remember when I was 17 yrs. of age in 79, i changed my terrible diet i grew up with to a veggie type diet. In the transition i replaced meat with Tofu until i learned our bodies can not assimilate fermenting soy-bean. I can understand why someone would not have an interest in liking the band RUSH from Canada. They are a very complicated (musically speaking) band. Like a real good Classical Jam.
Heres another one...

A concert is an idea
It blows my mind where ARE the outspoken activists? The musicians, the celebrities, the college students. Why is it so quiet? A concert like Live Aid and Farm Aid is what we need. Step up, speak out have some courage show your bravery before it's too late.
Ron Paul 2008
Here's two (some say three) of three
Here's a short film of college students and musicians(myself included) being anything but quiet. I'm out saying things, but I'm not sure if there are enough people trying to listen.

This is a short film of the band Family Conspiracy traveling out-of-state to Ohio, trying to get people's attention.
PEACE

Willie Nelson Headliner.......
Jimmy Vaughn ect, how about killing 2 birds with one stone and have it in St.Paul on the day before the convention starts. It's on a weekend. We probably could not pull it off because the granny warriors or someone would want to hold their own concert right next to it.
I had thought of that as well.
We could rent all the rooms in Saint Paul so noone else can go!
I need some help on this one. Sponsoring a fighter is one thing. Throwing a concert is NUTS! ANYBODY WANNA HELP?
Does my burka make my butt look fatwa?
GalacticWacko, I Have No Computer Skills Any Further Than...
what I am doing right now.I am almost certain that Willie Nelson and Jimmy Vaughn would surely want to be included. The GOP convention starts on a monday so maybe this could be a 2 day weekend event. We have 4 whole months to do this. Freedomstock 2008 Are any Ron Paul supporters booking agents or concert promoters? Maybe Willie would pick up the ball and run with it with our collective help, he has all the contacts.

Thanks.
I am going to call them and see if they want to go to the march on July 12th or something.
I would also like to get Jesse to the march as well. Also, Angels and Airwaves. However, I have no idea how to contact them.
Putting together a huge concert seems to much for me to get going. However, making the March as big as possible seems to be the way to go.
