It's official: GOP leadership is filling sandbags in the face of a tsunami.

http://www.stltoday.com/b...

This election cycle will be over, and the current GOP leadership will be stuck staring at landslide losses across the country. The rebuilding of the party, and it's new leaders, will really change the face of America.

Remember, education, and action, everyday.

Blowback.

Is coming. You want to lie, disenfranchise people, and cheat to win, be prepared. Evil Triumphant will never be as strong as Good temporarily defeated.

We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?

When they make a peaceful revolution impossible.

a violent revolution becomes ineviteable. America is being taken over by terrorist politicians. May day, May day.

Bonafide Republican

So now it is not enough to be a Republican, we must be a bonafide republican. Hmm. We must think their way or we are out. Nice. Nice.

State GOP Leadership

and I use the the term "leadership" loosely, had better shape up, or they and their party will be shipped out. How can they expect us to be excited about a liberal? I've tried engaging people who say they will vote for McCain for the reasons why and about the only viable answer I've heard is that he is a war hero. Other than that, "he is the one we elected." In my view the insiders have, but not the voters, at least not yet. Most truly believe than Ron Paul is no longer running for President and some of my friends/clients in California don't know who Ron Paul is. After Arnold, you'd think they would be wary of RINOs.

McCain has possible problems with the FEC as his campaign is over-extended, apparently. Now the GOP/RNC is aiding his campaign under the guise of this "presumptive" title and lots of "free" advertising. Wonder how this fits in with the FEC rules. Once the Democrats have made their candidate decision (why oh why, don't people continuously ask Hillary to drop out and endorse Obama "for the good of the party" as I heard Wolf Blitzer and others ask Ron Paul to do for McCain) I'd expect them to begin an attack on McCain on FEC regulations. Let the GOP spend effort and dollars on the McCain nomination and then get him shot down in the waning days of the election. Sounds like a low risk plan for ridding the DNC of any opposition, perhaps? Or maybe the Democrats will take on the whole party for violations. Looks to me as though McCain is good at making and breaking rules. all by himself....well, other than the co-sponsorship of at least one democrat (his best friends and, imo, his true allegiance), to help him pass a bill.

These insider, high-handed tactics are un-American and, as someone said, whatever happened to the "Grand" in GOP? Believe me, it grinds to hear people like Sue Lowden of Nevada call our Republican State Convention the "McCain Convention." Grinds.

IT'S DOABLE

I would like to know how they KNOW

which candidate people voted for?

I Hate Politics

They are focused on the power.

Excellent article

Why would they want to shut us out? If you talk to them, they'll tell you that what's the big deal with going to the national convention since the delegates are bound and John McCain's going to be the nominee. Obviously, they don't really believe that. Otherwise, why engage in behavior that only weakens the party?

I Agree

They're running scared and are probably hoping to put some fear into all of us Paul supporters.
