If unfriendly money flowed into Ron Paul's district
.. what would be your reaction?
Wouldnt you protest that "outsiders" are trying to "hijack" a "regional" election?
Wouldnt you point out that the job of a Congressman is to represent the people of *that district*, not the interests of people with money from outside it?
Wouldnt you call this a possible conspiracy to overthrow local representation in favor of a stealth cartel of political manipulators who have no concern for the needs, interests, or even perspective of the people in that district?
America should not meddle in the affairs of other countries, right?
Maybe citizens should not meddle in the affairs of other districts, either.

I would be moved to work harder.
Insofar as the U.S. Congress has jurisdiction over issues affecting Americans in EVERY congressional district, and not just the Ohio 2nd or the Texas 14th, then it is legitimate for anyone, anywhere to support whichever advocate of liberty or tyranny (as befits the contributor's temperament) he sees fit, irrespective of geographical boundary.

I hope the Henry Mancini estate has approved the use of his composition in Mr Singh's promotional spot, or are contributing in other ways. I confess I had to smile at the goofy gentle humor of these two gentlemen, and hope that Congressmember Amit indeed has many opportunities to have lunch with President Paul.
