What"s a CAFR? Another Way they Steal Our Money!!!!!!!
Cities, and States are always complaining about not being able to repair infrastructure, such as bridges, highways, schools, etc, because they already have budget deficits. The CAFR's (Commprehensive Annual Finance Reports) show different, they really have huge surpluses. According to this article the government owns the majority of stocks in the largest corporation, and makes huge profits from the stocks. But, where does the money go??? Here is the article explaining how this is done, but it really doesn't say where the money is going: http://www.rense.com/gene...

Does the article specify
Does the article specify which stocks? Or at least which company that is being referred to by "largest corporation", aka the one that the government holds the majority of stock in?
CAFR
I've heard a great deal about this as well.
I'll look into the site - thanks! I seem to get ADD in front of a computer screen - can anyone recommend any books on this?
I'm so glad to see a forum
I'm so glad to see a forum on this. I know someone who researched this. Here is the website she suggested.

We brought this up a few weeks back at a local town hall meeting with our delegates and congressmen. No one seemed to know anything about it. It is very easy to obtain the CAFR for your state. Check out the website for details.
