I agree , sometimes once you realize the truth about the gov.

the lies, the fed, the neocons, etc. you must latch onto something that is so horrible under normal circumstances that under these extraordinary circumstances...it strikes as funny. or maybe just truthful

Always thought about living up north

Freedom is not FREE!!

Do you think a cajun would be accepted. Just kidding, the whole message was great. Thank you

I'm Sure Where You Live

You make it better every day. But the Lakota people do need our help, there is nothing better than a pair of hands and a creative mind.

Look at the back of the US Dollar

Look at the eagle on the right. Make your hand like the eagles head, thumb touching forefinger, remaining fingers curled to form an eye.

Now watch every speech by Clinton, McCain, Obama, Bush, et al... Now make a list.

Got an email from Russell

give you part of the information...

Here is how you can help:
(Lakotah Total Immersion School) We plan to begin operating the
school in the fall of 2008. In order to achieve that, we need
$288,200 by June 1, 2008. The amount of $119,000 is needed to finish
and equip the 5,000 square foot pre-fab tipi proto-type structure,
which is
currently at 65% completion. We need $169,200 for school
operations, which would accommodate 12 to 20 students. We are pleased
to report that we are on our way towards obtaining these funding
requirements. This is a crucial first step toward realizing our new
found independence.

The initial response has been inspiring and we request your financial
support by visiting our web site http://www.treatyschool.c...

Just as our ancestors signed treaties to secure the interest of our
People for the next seven generations, we, Lakotah, are at that point
again. We believe in the human spirit to persevere. With your help,
we will continue as a distinctive People.

Thank you for being a part of the survival of the Lakotah culture.

i'm admire them...hope it all goes well

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master... George Washington

I wonder if the money that

I wonder if the money that they have already spent could have been used in better ways....

Why not simply start off in an old building with a teacher and plenty of books for the students? That would be possible with far less money than they still need to complete their project. Or maybe a teacher to guide the students on many subjects that are taught via online classes? Anything to save money and get more value from the dollars they do spend.

I just hope that the Lakotah people do not fall into the same trap that we have fallen into. Spending beyond our means. Look at the mess doing so has gotten us into.

Can we get them to do a money bomb?

Give us some notice and a nice website so we can all ask our friends to help?
