When Ron Paul speaks at the Convention he will bring the house down and the whole world will see it

With so few delegates I am afraid he'll be booed off stage and not given any attention by the McCainites-they would really get a kick out of this and they are the ones that need to hear the most. We all know what his message is and how great a man he is but they won't listen...

Or is that too close to "Yes we can"??

I don't see how they are going to permit him to speak.

Maybe, his temperment will nice his way onto the stage.

If that happens, he will go down in history as the smartest politician ever!!!

But everyone seems to be pinning so much on Ron Paul speaking at the convention....because its televised- even if they dont "experience technical difficulties" during the broadcast- who even watches these things? anyone politics-savvy enough to watch the RNC broadcast already knows what he's going to say; "return the party to her roots, limited govt, non-intervenionist foreign policy, sound money". How many minds would we expect to change by that time? Especially at the convention- what undecided delegate is going to make the trip to the RNC convention? Clearly the delegate drive is crucial for pushing through platform planks- but more people would see Ron Paul in a CNN interview than the RNC con. Speaking at the convention is GREAT- but isnt the really big deal platform planks? What am I missing?

We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?

When he was at the peak of his popularity around late January,He might have have gotten the attention of the GOP.
His advisers are (IMHO) not qualified to have any kind of strategy.

I hope that I am wrong...I really REALLY REALLY hope I'm wrong.
Many of us worked our butts off to support this campaign, It would be nice for the GOP to realize that they are making a stupid mistake

I will stand in agreement with this article. Positive thoughts and prayers, even for those who are Mccain supporters. Winning them over with truth and kindness. That is how we will win.

Ron Paul will speak at the convention and Ron Paul will be elected President of the United States of American citizens whom he loves and cherishes just as they do him!! And peace fell over the world which hungered for rightiousness. And so it is!!
