A letter from Ben Novak - How Ron Paul Is Going to Win
This is in my view a great analysis of the current situation of the rEVOLution:
I think it is worth being spread among Republicans.
Best wishes from Germany

As a delegate for Oregon...
and a life long Repub for 23 years, nothing would please me more than to go the convention and help make this a reality. GOD SAVE US ALL, VOTE RON PAUL!!!!!!
Very Insightful
Thanks for the inspirational letter. The scenario you build is very plausable and just might play out as you predict. It's still a long shot, but that's just because we can't be sure the "light-bulbs" will finally go off in the other delegates heads in time.
But we sure can hope and work to make it happen. Maybe when the Republican Party realizes we're not trying to "take-over" the party, but rather, "save it" by returning to the Constitutional principals of our founding; then the tide will turn.
I'm convinced the top three issues in Nov. will be:
1. The Economy
2. The War/ foreign policy
3. Health care.
If that's the case, it's the perfect time to elect an Austrian School economics scholar, foreign policy expert/author...and a Medical Doctor. Plus, Dr. Paul knows the Constitution and Amercian history better than anyone else in public office.
It'll be a whole lot less painful (and dangerous) for the country, to correct our course now....rather than have to do crisis-action salvage work in 2012!
Go RON PAUL !!!
I McCain has already "won",
I McCain has already "won", then why is he still spending money and time campaigning? If I knew I have won with certainty, I would relax, keep an eye on developments, and prepare for the main convention. I guess he is campaigning , because he does not have the confidence of certain win. But I must also say, that the establishment would want someone under their control, and for them, left or right is not important. If McCain loses, they still have Clinton and Obama they can control. And the rigging of this election is not to be forgotten. Who controls the Parties? THE LAST THING THEY WANT , IS SOMEONE WHO IS GOING TO END THEIR EMPIRE! But I hope that the People can try to make sure no rigging takes place, then Ben's letter is certainly feasible. Sorry if it does not bring the same enthusiasm, but you should be aware, since the "Dictator" does not uphold his Oath from the minute he swore to GOD. "So help me GOD", and I doubt that is going to happen.
I am surprised the g o p is
I am surprised the g o p is letting him make any public statements. He will eventually blow up and show every one what a delusional fool he is.
I just wish he would have to debate Ron Paul so all could see how uninformed he really is.
Thats a great letter, thanks
Thats a great letter, thanks for showing us. I think we need to get this out to every Paulite!
Excellent!
This letter needs to be reworked/reworded to address all the delegates that are not on board with Ron Paul. We know how great Dr. Paul's message is, however the other delegates may be as obstinate and/or stubborn as we are about our candidate. Two points that should sway their decision: 1. no one but Ron Paul has a chance in hell against either Democrat nominee because of the war issue, and 2. if Ron Paul is not the nominee, the Republican party will fall the way of the Whigs. The letter needs to state the facts, which by themselves should be sufficient to sway at least enough delegates for a brokered convention. Although, without sounding like a personal attack, the letter should point out McCain's weak points (I know, there are quite a few) that the Democrats have been using and will use against him in the general election, and contrast that with Dr. Paul's impeccable public and personal life. If anyone knows Ben Novak, please contact him and forward my suggestion (The letter is copyrighted). Mr. Novak has succinctly put into words what we all know and now it needs to be formated for the delegates who are blindly destroying the Republican party with a can't win war candidate.

I`ve sent your comment to Ben via the european Ron Paul Google-Group.

Thanks!
I think it would be a great way to get the reality across to the other delegates. At the very least, it would probably persuade the delegates who really don't know much about Dr. Paul except what has been fed to them via MSM or the McCain camp.
Exactly!
>At the very least, it would probably persuade the delegates who really >don't know much about Dr. Paul except what has been fed to them via >MSM or the McCain camp
I think the letter is pretty "literate" (I hope this is correct english). Ben Novak is a great man. He has taught us (the european Paulites) a lot about the US. He was with us in Strasbourg at the Ron Paul rally in front of the EUSSR-Parliament.

European bump!
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
I agree, something like this
I agree, something like this definitely needs to be sent to all the delegates. It needs the same main points as this letter. McCain is extremely pro-war. The majority of voters are now against the war, they will *NOT* vote for a pro-war candidate, regardless of his other policies.
Thank you for your continued support in Germany!
And may I also say, reading the entire content really brightened my day and resurrected my feelings of hope. Thanks again!

Thanks!
This really should make some non-paulite-republicans think. At least I hope so.

I think he's already won, in
I think he's already won, in terms of achieving important objectives, but the odds of his winning the general election in November are extremely low. Extremely low.
I've made my peace with that. (Go ahead, call me a "troll" or a "NWO shill" for stating the obvious.)
What we should be doing now, in the absence of any winnable strategy, is discussing how to fix the more-or-less insurmountable roadblocks, so we can achieve victory in the future.
