Yet another video example of police using pain compliance aka torture, for violating even the smallest of commands while in a police interrogation room. The likelihood of your children being subjected to electrocution aka pain compliance is very high. So you might as well have that discussion with them, you know "the cops (the state) own you son/daughter you have no freedoms/rights and must submit to the state at all times." Be sure to inform your children if they do get tasered to thank the nice police officer(s) for correcting their anti-social behavior.

82 year old man on oxygen in hospital bed tased multiple times.
While in a delusional state and physically unable to move from hospital bed 82 year old man pulls a pocket knife. Who do you call? Three state enforcers who zap this bed ridden man multiple times with their "energy weapon" as they call it. Where police officers are allowed to use force, there will be a certain amount of abuse. Always, it has to do with human nature. If it goes out of control it is a symptom of a bigger problem.
Instead of questioning the use of tasers as isolated cause to rebel against, better try to help steering the US away from the whole problem, which is too much government influence.

I am a child of the 70's and early 80's I remember when the police were your friends. You could actually talk to them, ask them questions hell you could even disagree with them. I remember be pulled over for speeding (owned hot rods and motorcycles got pulled over a lot.) and I would actually exit my vehicle and walk back to them. They never got excited about it. During this time in my life I only got one ticket and I was pulled over for speeding 21 times when I was sixteen.
Over the years I have seen our nation become the land of slave and the home of the coward and it makes me ill and mean literally. I remember when cops were part of the community and not a gang of thugs backed up by a fascist/communist state government. To see how we are being treated now and to see how the average citizens doesn't even seem to mind makes me so sad. What a shameful nation we have become. And I include myself in that because fact is I am afraid of the state (and it's enforcers) because all that has to happen is I cross paths with a state enforcer who wants to torture, kill or frame me for a crime (and by the way anything is a crime now a days. aka talking back, not follow orders fast enough etc.) and I am toast. And no one will really give a damn.
So when this fascist loving Minarchist used his/her smart @44 "mouth" to claim I was "speculating" ; whatever that is supposed to mean, I started to do some googling. What I found on the web was more and more incidents of state enforcers using tasers as torture toys. It seems tasing children is particularly exciting to these anti-Constitutional thugs. And yes they are enemies of The Constitution so if you wish to defend anti-Constitutional activities fine, just know were you stand.
I never intended to post so many replys to my own thread. It's not my habit as any long time DP'ers know. But as I was reading and watching videos I was simply shocked (no pun) at how state enforcers use stun guns to impose their own street justice on U.S. Citizens who do not "follow orders" or move "quickly" enough, or who dare to ask questions or exhibit "anti-social" behavior, or dare to "disrespect" their authority in any perceived manner. In fact any reason or no reason at all seems to be justification for "dancing with the taser" as the enforcers call it.
The most frightening part of this is the use of tasers has set the precedent that it is ok for a state enforcers to kill you or your child for the tiniest of perceived infraction/ violation or personal slight to a state enforcer. And the state enforcer will not be punished in anyway. The state enforcer is now judge, jury, and executioner. Can anyone say Judge Dred?

However,Tasers do become a very important assest though for police officers who need to defend themselves in certain situations. Guidelines of use must be strict and consequences of misuse must be clear. State law and department policies usually govern this, some are obviously better than others.

Oh please! I've been tased, I didn't die. Most cops are tased before they are issued a taser. Simple truth to the matter is that there is a protocol for using a certain amount of force to defend himself or herself. It is called the "use of force continuum." A police officer must be able to justify that the amount of force used is reasonable in court of law.If it is not than he/she is liable for any damages or deaths that might be a result of his/her actions.
Tasers give a 5 second jolt that is less than lethal. It hurts, and looks horrible on the nightly news, but 99% of the time it won't kill you. Now there are circumstances where people with pre-existing health conditions have died after being taserd, but the same is true for people who have been pepper sprayed, billy clubed, or shot(duhh).(Do the research) All of these circumstances require compliance with "use of force contiuum" upon use (in accordance with state law.)
Finally, It is not as if tasers are exclusive to police officers. Citizens can buy them and use them without a permit in most states. When used properly they are, in my opinion, a very useful asset to self defense and protection of law abiding citizens and police officers.
The problem with misuse of the taser is not the taser itself, but rather a problem of people who shouldn't be cops in the first place using them. In this case, no matter what tool you give a "bad cop" they will likely misuse it. The only option left is to better screen police officer candidates.. If tasers are misused the person who is responsible will likely be found, and should be found, liable for harm caused through due process of law.
Citizen discussion over the use of tasers is important. Better than being a nation of sheep,,,,,,

Yes, I am sure some are duplicate videos, but I am also sure these 1400 plus videos are not the only ones on YouTube. Just think about it being tasered by the state is so common that there are over 1400 videos just on one website with actual video or stories about being tasered. Just how many taser incidents never get a video or are never reported?

Bottom line people-Police can kill you, there is no protection from tasers, 50000 volts can easily kill you I only included a couple of the hundreds of civilian deaths (not including the police officer deaths who were trying out the equipment). did you include the man that was in the airport who could not speak English and was trying to find his mother, and was killed right then and there by a tasor? These things are being used as toys, and the general populace is being tested to see how far they can go in increasing the use of them. It also seems like every other day you hear about some new wonder device that are being included in the arsenal. A new one is a unit that lets out a painful high pitched tone that is being used outside of stores and apartments to keep kids from hanging around.

There's so many people getting killed by tasers now in the news you'll find repeats of the same stories, like multiple passengers in Canada getting tased for not having tickets.
There's alot of new "toys" for these sadistic idiots. One you'll seen with riots is a microwave beam that causes pain (and probably cancer, and other deadly situations they won't tell you about). Another fun toy is a disc that shoots multiple taser strings into multiple people. Imagine how many they could kill that way. Another toy is from the mk-ultra experiments that focuses words directly into the ears of protesters. That mosquito tone is sold to store owners, the other, more serious and deadly "toys" are for our good old law enforcement only.
The main thing to understand from all this news is they are gearing up for the population to be okay with murder from the authorities. We need to get away from the computer and tell your neighbors about these atrocities.
