It was pretty much a McCain cheerleading event at our county and congressional conventions. I was only an alternate, and I had to leave after an hour or so because I was feeling really sick.
One of my fellow Ron Paul supporters on campus here was almost booted from her delegate slot during our CD4 convention, because she "lied" at the county convention (They probably would have lynched us had we fully claimed that we were Paul supporters). The motion got shot down by about 2-1. I left after that point, but I know at least one of the Delegates from CD4 is on our side, and he is one of those 15 candidates. He will be running for MN house.
The big bummer about our state is that we can't count on McCain delegates not being able to make it. The National convention is right in our backyard, so it would take a miracle to get our alternates seated. Then again, it is "St. Paul" we are in...
