What are OUR chief complaints with John McCain

I like what he has been saying recently (limited government, tax relief, etc.). Except for the war on terror bit which I refuse to buy into he has been handling himself well. Surrounded himself with some people that I respect. Unfortunately, I cannot trust him. He has an agenda that I believe will make him dishonest. He also has a liberal streak that concerns me. I don't want a president that will "cross the isle to get things done". I want a president with a steady hand and a light touch. I do not want a president that "gets things done". I want a president that reverses things that have been done (IRS, Fed, war abroad, overspending). Dr. Paul is everything McCain wishes he could be right now to conservative voters. To sum it all up. I think the guy is unprincipled and a liar. If he mocks Ron Paul again I will kick him in the nuts.

McPain seems to know nothing of economics (just like Billibama).

Also, the way he reads is pathetic. But an prompter speech is atrocious. He can't read a speech, but they cannot trust him to think for himself. I've seen a writing that he mumbles incoherencies sometimes.

#5. I would say CFR... in essence, he's a traitor/guilty of treason... the people are the country, not the government... McCain is a loyal servant of the government (at least the government in existence), but not to the people.

That matters to some of us, and perhaps it should matter to all of us, but truly the other reasons are damning enough... and such a proclamation merely feeds into the media frenzy that we are tin foil hat wearing kooks (REGARDLESS of any merits there are to such an argument).

I'm a fairly informed individual... and I'm not adequately informed to make any sort of decision on a candidate based on his or her relation to the CFR. Personally, I'm more worried about voting records than anything else, and McCain's self admited lack of knowledge of ecconomics (+his horrendous response to RP's question in the debates) really scares me. His election finance hanky panky is also a huge issue for me. I mean the act is called McCain-Fiengold (Excuse the spelling)... for him to try and game his own f***ing system is outrageous!

In summary, the man has no scruples. Concentrate on that. Making statements that implicate him in anything that sounds even remotely conspiratorial is not worth our time, effort, or the damage it will invariably (merited or not) cause to our movement. There is PLENTY to work with without going to the CFR.

I could go on forever.....after watching these again.....I am pissed again.

What I am really pissed off about is how America "had" one chance to put an honest man "Ron Paul" in office. And this country BLEW IT!

A brief summary is that McCain introduced and arranged for the Hopi and Navajoian people in Arizona to have their land taken from them (hmmmm, sound familiar?) and they were relocated to Nevada. The tribes burial and other sacred sites were given no protections.

This land was taken so the coal companies can strip mine.

has said many times that he is commited to non-violence. McCain is the opposite; he believes that violence is a solution. He might even prefer it over any other strategy.

My #1 objection therefore is McCain involvement in promoting the Iraq war, continuing the war, and even insisting that we will acheive victory..

I can send you a PowerPoint Show I was preparing when it crashed, "John McCain is a real ..." in which I chronicle and flesh out the charges I made above. McCain is also psychologically unstable; you don't have to be a mental health expert to know that. Anyway, the presentation is set to "Sympathy for the Devil," so you can pretty well ascertain the tone. McCain touts his "foreign policy experience;" and, yes, he has plenty of experiences. Too bad he learned nothing from them. He's been consistently wrong on every foreign policy prediction he's made since becoming a US Senator (and I started scrutinizing him).

By the way, McCain didn't "possibly violate campaign election laws," he DID violate them repeatedly, including his "baby," McCain-Feingold. He deserves to be stripped of his pledged delegates in every state in which he used federal matching funds, especially those in which he was waved the necessary signatures to be on the ballot.
