Has anyone taken colloidal silver?

I take about 1-2 tablespoons/day. I make my own---here's a simple way how:
--Buy 2 silver buillion bars at local coin shop or from ebay.
--Get a small pack (they come in packs of 3) of roach clips, wires, and 9volt connectors. You have to strip the ends of the wires and connect them to the clips. Buy a 9v battery.
--Buy a gallon of distilled water.
--Take a piece of plastic (lid or whatever) and make 2 slits about 2inches apart.
--Get a glass cup (I use a solid ceramic mug to keep light away from the C. Silver as it's being produced) that holds about 8oz.. Put the lid on top.
--Connect the clips to the silver bars and put them through the slits in the plastic. The clips should stop the bars from falling through. Don't let the bars touch the sides of the glass. Conect the battery and wait about 2-21/2 hrs.
You now have Colloidal silver.
There other ways of making it and ways of testing the parts per million. If your c.s. is yellow it's probably too strong with larger than desired silver particles in it.

Yes, have taken it for years. Also give it to my cats. Actually found out about it from cat breeder who recommended it for an ailment one of my cats had. It works! I keep a bottle on hand at all times.
I buy it at Whole Foods....but it is readily available at health food stores or online. Not that I am recommending this, but one time when I was purchasing a bottle of it at Whole Foods, guy working there told me that he had gotten food poisoning so he drank a whole bottle of the colloidial silver at the onset of the poisoning......cleared it up right away.

& while i think it helped me, i don't think it worked as well as it could have b/c i didn't eliminate all of the unnatural junk foods, caffeine & sugar from my diet. supplements & natural products need a pure &/or alkaline system to work at optimum levels. otherwise, they're just fighting w/the other junk & that junk is stronger.

I've taken colloidal silver for colds. I think it works. I buy mine from Herbal Healer Academy (870-269-4177) if you search you'll find their website.

You might want to have a look at my posting that started out talking about an article in ScientificDaily.com and ended up talking about micro-particle colloidal silver, which I have taken every day for the past year or more. There are two basic types which are spelled out in that posting. Posting title is: "Silver Preventing Hospital Infections and adding to the silver shortage". Bottom line is that it saved me from having to have my right knee replaced. My VA Doctor could not believe his eye's when he recently compared the old and new x-rays. The type of colloidal silver I took was evidently easily absorbed by my body and stimulated regrowth of the bone that was lost to arthritis and replaced all of the lost cartilage. It also killed the arthristis that was growing in that same knee and probably anywhere else in my body. All I can report are my personal results. Oh, and I haven't had a cold or flu since I began taking it.

There was a reason very wealthy people used to be called (blue bloods) that being they all ate and drank using silver dishes and utensils causing their blood to take on a blueish hue. It was also a fact that this exposure to silver gave them health benefits that were not seen in common folk so don't hesitate to educate yourself about the health benefits of silver. May I also suggest learning about the health benefits of food grade hydrogen peroxide, it provides the blood stream with a super supply of oxygen to battle free radicals etc. In addition it is important to learn about balancing your blood ph, most disease comes from having to much acid in your stomach and bloodstream so getting more alkaline in your system is crucial to a daily health plan.

if you take too much colloidial silver you will turn bluish green permanently.No joke,it changes the pigment in your skin or blood if you take too much.

What the “blue man” Paul Karason made that turned his skin blue was not colloidal silver, but rather a home-made contaminated ionic silver.

Of course he overdosed also so take it in moderation. I combine it with herbs if I feel something coming on, usually knocks it right out.

Silver and gold are being manipulated by the forces of MONEY........and the price o silver and gold will go down in the next 90 days....but it does not matter where you get in at.........silver and gold will triple in price or more in the next 24 months.....so i would say.....Buy what you can.

DO NOT get into precious metals if you are going to watch the price every day.....You will have a heart attack when it falls, and you will be euphoric when it rises,,,,,if you can't handle "LONG TERM" then dont't do it.....but if you can handle the roller coaster....it will pay off. Long term.

Colloidal silver is often contaminated with toxic heavy metals. If you are going to take it, do your research, don't skimp and get the best quality you can. Sorry, I can't recommend any vendors.

I shared with some of you the other day about my experience of going into shock after drinking some colloidal silver. I suggested a skin-prick test for sensitivities, particularly for young children.

Today I spent time training with the Red Cross for my advanced first aid certificate and learned something interesting about allergic reaction. People who go into anaphylactic shock do so on their second exposure of a substance and never on their first. Try the colloidal silver first on the skin (scratch/prick skin and apply) before drinking and again for the next ingestion. If a reaction occurs (nausea, low blood pressure, itching, etc.), it can be treated with a dose of adrenaline at the hospital and the person should feel better in about 5 minutes.

Hope you never come across an allergic reaction -- just a heads up.

While I believe that colloidal silver is a wonderful anti-biotic, I have found iodine/iodide to be a safe alternative. It kills gram positive and gram negative pathogens.

The major difference between the two are that the body needs iodine/iodide and colloidal silver is not needed by the body on a daily basis.

Do a patch test to see if you are iodine deficient by painting a 3 inch patch of iodine (the stuff you get at the drug store) on your body. It will stain so do it where no one else can see it. The more quickly it fades the more deficient you are.

If the economy falls apart, iodine could be the cheapest anti-biotic you could purchase.

We used to take it all the time, but now only when we are ill. It really does work great! We take it internally and use it externally. We have found that it works on my 14 year olds acne. I am currently using it to cure a boil (yikes, how embarrassing) because someone told me that she knew someone who cleared one up in 2 weeks. It takes a lot to OD on the stuff, so go for it! Take it! Did you know that the term bluebloods came from the nobility in Britain because they ate on silver and with silver knives, etc. and it made them slightly blue. Very few of the nobles died during the Black Plague, and probably because of the silver. People used to put a silver coin in milk to make it last longer. No, I am not blue colored.

Colloidal silver can be used for all types of antibiotic things. I have taken it internally on a number of occasions, and it's certainly not harmful to do so by any stretch, alarmist videos notwithstanding. Remember, you can go completely overboard on absolutely ANYTHING and harm yourself. But it's great for any application where you want to kill germs.
