I have my down moments.
But seeing the Democratic Party grassroots mobilize against to the NeoCons in their Party makes me Proud! Their message to their troops is Ron Paul's.
Ron can unite all Americans to be Patriots.
The Dem and Rep divide, The left and right is all fabricated to fool the voters.
The vast majority if Americans believe in the constitution and individual rights. We all want to be free!
Setting up an enemy to fear to give government more control and the public less rights, is as old as time!

We are winning! For ourselves and for all Americans!

Stop the Iraq Sellout Thursday: Call Congress Today

On Thursday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi will force the House to approve $163 billion more of our tax dollars for the occupation of Iraq - nearly $100 billion for 2008 plus nearly $70 billion more for 2009.

We are outraged. This Democratic Congress was elected to end the occupation, not fund it forever.

On Monday, a new Democrats.com poll found an overwhelming 68% of Americans want to bring our troops safely home within 6 months - a significant increase from 54% last September. Support among Democrats increased 14% to 85%, while support among Independents increased 20% to 78%. Why is the Democratic Congress defying the will of the overwhelming majority of Democrats and Independents?

Each day's news underscores how disastrous the occupation is. April was the deadliest month for U.S. soldiers since last September. One in five Iraq and Afghanistan veterans - roughly 300,000 - report symptoms of PTSD or major depression. The V.A. covered up the fact that 12,000 veterans attempt suicide each year while under V.A. treatment. As Cindy Sheehan asked, "for what noble cause" are our sons and daughters suffering and dying?

To make matters worse, Bush continues to use our occupation of Iraq as a reason to wage a covert war against Iran that could quickly turn to a wider and even more disastrous war. We know the Iraq War "marketing" was timed for the 2002 election - if John McCain is behind in the polls, will Bush " bomb bomb Iran " as an " October Surprise " to keep Republicans in power?

On top of it all, as our economy tanks, we simply cannot afford to waste $163 billion more of our tax dollars for Iraq on top of the $562 billion we've already wasted and the $3 trillion overall cost, included tripling the price of gasoline .

It's urgent for everyone to call your Representative today with a simple message: Not One More Penny for Iraq .

This battle is not impossible. On January 16, 42 progressive Democrats voted against the last $70 billion blank check. Most Republicans oppose Pelosi's bill because it includes some domestic spending, so a large bloc of progressive Democrats can defeat it.

They will be applying all sorts of pressure on O'Dmama and Devil Woman.
Devil woman is the NeoCon choice for war and support of Israel.

“Neoconservatives” and the Bush Doctrine

Long before President George W. Bush took office in 2001, elements in or close to the Republican Party had called repeatedly for firmer U.S. steps against Iraq, including a war if necessary to force a regime change. One such group authored a white paper in 1996 called A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm, which was later sent to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of Israel’s Likud Party. It advocated a war against Iraq as a way of undermining Syria and of moderating the Shia Hezbollah of southern Lebanon, arguing that these actions would pave the way for peace and stability in a notoriously unstable part of the world. The paper came out of discussions among foreign policy experts, including Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, Robert Loewenberg, David Wurmser, and Meyrav Wurmser, many of whom later occupied important positions in the Bush administration.

With a school system that denies you the right to think and be an independent person. Zero tolerance and denial of rights under the constitution to children in the school system. I playground fight gets you in prison!
In my day we took guns to school to shoot squirrel etc., on the way home. No one cared! Amazing we survived!
Oh yes. Drugs weren't banned so there were no dealers or profits.
People who took drugs we felt sorry for. They ruined their lives.
As a kid I once trespassed and stole some apples. It seemed a good idea at the time, but I was young. I would never do that now I am grown and understand the world and the rights of people.
Anyway they were sour and horrible, and definitely not worth the fear and excitement of sneaking into the orchard.
We have become intolerant and fearful and basically not a decent place to raise our children and grand children. The world still looks a John Wayne movies and sees us free and thoughtful. We are rapidly moving to a police state of intolerance. Canada has never seen so many Americans apply to move there. I feel ashamed of my government.
I'll not post anymore.
