Big Brother Is at the Door: Wearing GPS Monitoring Devices

NY State is proposing to require those under a restraining order to wear a GPS monitoring device. Since judges hand out restraining orders like candy, with no trial, jury, or verdict, it's only a matter of time until the government is tracking the movements of a large percentage of its citizens. Too late! Bush admin said by 2005 all phones must have GPS.
The Federal Communications Commission requires nearly all cell phones have GPS technology embedded to help emergency responders pinpoint 9-1-1 callers who may not be able to explain their exact location.

When I read it back then I thought "Oh Shit!" What is coming down.
So buy an old phone on e-bay.
The law said ALL phones had to report a GPS position.
This was to stop the one or two occasions when a woman was kidnapped and put in the truck of a car and had her cell phone and called the police. But they didn't know where she was!
So now 26 million Americans are constantly monitored in case this happens again.
The only way to stop your phone telling precisely where you are is to remove the battery. Also because we are afraid of terrorists your phone can be turned on to monitor all conversation around you without you knowing.
So folks, that easily affordable phone you are paying for is a double edged sword.

Now private eye companies are offering 24 hour surveillance of your loved ones or lying bastard husband or wife.
You really should pay attention to the small articles that come out on Saturdays when no one reads their newspapers.
