Ron Paul had me at "defender of the constitution", but this book is totally liberating!

May I suggest that this post and the hammerin' the hammer thread are decidedly front page material. Definitely keepers.

It reminds me of something from the movie, "The Hurricane"--we don't always choose the books we read; sometimes they choose us.

I really appreciate the "Pay it Forward" reference. I own the movie and it was very inspirational to me. Yes, indeed. If you can make a convert the way you have described, then Paying it Forward is exactly what you have done.

Wonderful story.

Who can resist reading about the revolution and not be overcome with emotion. The first time I heard about Dr. Paul was in the May 2007 debate. I googled his name and spent the next months starved for every and any information about him. Hey! It's my one year anniversary!

You can't compel someone to read a book or watch a video but when they do it on their own, that is powerful. Then they are much more open to the message.

It's wonderful to love Dr. Paul and his freedom message so much, that you do get emotional when another wakes up! Talk about supreme joy and happiness!! Truthfully, is there anything better?

btw, I am grateful the book is small because more of the masses might take on the challenge of reading it because of that. Only a political wonk might take on a "big" political book. I wouldn't doubt that this was behind Dr. Paul's thinking...

I think the greatest feeling is when you open someone’s eyes and pull the veil from their face. It is still amazing how little people know about Dr. Paul. Just yesterday I spoke with a person in the McCain campaign and he thought Dr. Paul was “against” FREE TRADE!!! Great job on spreading the message of Freedom!!!

i'm going to Amazon right now and ordering at least 3 more copies. i'll probably order some of the books he recommends in the back as well. although i've already got a few of them.

I think its a great idea to leave these in places where time can take an eternity. Dentists ofc. etc.

I read it faster than I have read any other book, given it's size. I plan to give this out as a gift to all those in need of a pick me up. Or anyone who needs smelling salts after being asleep so long.
