Cindy McCain has filed a separate tax return for years so she claims she shouldn't have to release her returns, even if McCain is president. Interesting. What does she have to hide?

I think, if you are running for public office, your financial matters are of public concern. Mainly. because you wouldn't want an elected official benefiting directly financially from legislation or enforcment of legislation. For example, say, hypothetically, Cindy McCain owned huge shares of Halliburton stock. Wouldn't that be relevant to the election?

I doubt that any one would ask you unless your spouse is running for the most powerful position in the so called free world. When you run for public office, your life (and your spouse's) becomes an open book.
So why Isn't Anyone Asking
For Carol Paul's tax return, her spouse is still running the last time I checked.
I'm voting for him unless the world ends or I die between now and November, and I don't care what she paid in taxes last year, or how she made her money.
And I don't care what Cindy McCain made last year or what she paid, and neither should you.

Perhaps, but if by chance you found out that a bi-product of one of McCanus's dirty deals were massive beer distributing contracts for Cindy would that matter to you? Or would you just stick your head back in the sand?
If McCanus is elected POTUS then he is taking her with him no? Well if we're gonna be paying the rent for the next 4 to 8 years should you know what you have invested in?

I would not compare Carol Paul in no way
To Cindy McCain. Thank God! Carol Paul doesn't have anything to hide in the way of taxes or anything. Carol is a very sincere, genuine, caring and trustworthy person as is her husband, Dr. Paul. If we had more people like them in this world it would be a much better place to live in.

The McLame's don't even compare! They have all sorts of skeletons in their closet & as such, should be exposed!
you know, i really don't mind that she wants privacy, but
what i do mind, is the hypocrisy - daring to call obama elite when the mccain's are loaded beyond belief. they have several vacation homes & if i'm not mistaken, the mccain's are listed as the 8th (i believe) wealthiest in the senate.
i can't wait for the dnc, move on, et al, to trounce on mr straight talk in the general election. cause by the time they're finished w/him, i bet RP will look pretty solid to a lot of neo-cons - whether they want to admit it, or not.

Seems like everything about mccain is above the laws that apply to everyone else. and this carnival sideshow of hillary and obama is nothing but a diversion to keep the dems from attacking mccain before the conventions.
