Ron Paul's perfect Vice-Presidential Pick

Aside from people asking me why Dr. Paul doesn't hire a public speaking coach so he can be more charismatic, the second most asked question is who he would pick for his Vice-Presidential running mate.
I was giving this some thought and I decided that the perfect running mate for Ron Paul to win the general election would be a libertarian leaning conservative black woman.
Are there any prospects out there anyone can think of?

As the GOP
nominee - if that can be achieved - he would have to nominate a VP that the majority in the GOP can rally around. SO please, forget about any Libertarian, Jesse Ventura etc. etc. (It is a different case if he would be a third party or Indy candidate of course).
He would need to nominate someone that can take over after 4/8 years from him and that would be around 50,, plus or minus and quite well known (a senator or a governor) with experience, so I would say Mark Sanford or Gary Johnson
Both governor/ex-governors that have not endorsed McCain formally AND that are also strong fiscal and social conservative-libertarian AND can get the base of the GOP enthusiastic, also those that did not support Dr. Paul up to now.

It's right out of the George Bush (Sr. or Jr.) textbook...pick someone scarier than you...make them afraid to pull a Sirhan Sirhan.
I think I would even have taken a bullet for Bush...for god's sakes keep Cheney out of the White House.

but if it comes down to the time to pick one, I am sure Ron Paul has thought about it, and he is quite savvy about politics, and he is also a man of conviction, and he will choose well.

Just because he's someone with NAME RECOGNITION. That's why Hillary and McCain do well... it's certainly not for their policies.
He's outspoken, a proven commodity, has similar views as Dr. Paul, and he would be the perfect person to break through the media silence.
Any kind of unknown libertarian wouldn't get the attention that Jesse gets.
Plus, he's already proven he's electable and can out-debate the republicrats hands down.

Hiring a 'star' is not in his nature. Part of the whole awakening is realizing that smooth walks and talks and clothes and 'zingers' are not what makes a candidate. People who do not understand this, by and large, will not vote for Dr. Paul because the box tells them to vote for someone else. They live and breathe the box. The box sets their moral standards and rituals. The box picks out their clothes, toothpaste, tampons, cars, beer, (gmo)milk, rubbers, everything.

I love the way Dr. Paul speaks. He speaks like a man with his own brain, his own thoughts. He is extremely charismatic in my opinion. Sounds to me as if some of the people you speak with either are not for Dr. Paul or they are hypercritical. I hate the phony, read the speech someone else wrote, speak to the camera puppets.
