Weekend Watching - Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers

This is my first post here, and I want to give a little about my background. Before my favorite candidate, Fred Thompson, dropped out in late January, I frankly thought of Ron Paul as a shrill nut who appealed only to fanatics that hated taxes and hated the US military. I have since discovered that it is not true at all! I had been brainwashed, and by supposed "conservatives". Earlier this year, I discovered the horrible history of the CFR, the Federal Reserve, the IRS, America's 20th century foreign policy, etc. through Alex Jones's ENDGAME. I also watched Aaron Russo's FREEDOM TO FASCISM and am in the process of reading through Jonah Goldberg's LIBERAL FASCISM. Through inquiring about Ron Paul's view on terrorism at the Townhall forum, I read http://lewrockwell.com/or... - an excellent article that explains the deliberate provocations America's foreign policy has created. I believe Dr. Paul and the REVOLUTION he has led have done more to educate people about the traitors who control the power structure of the world, than anyone else. I post on several other political forums, also, and would like to help educate people so we can stop this conspiracy dead in its tracks. We have to hurry!

That said, I have come to realize that the only reason Muslims are at war with America is because of our aggressive, uncalled-for acts in the Middle East. The engineers of one world government deliberately staged it this way, just like Vietnam, to get the world at odds with the United States. Our current President Bush has violated the Constitution so much, and yet conservatives have generally accepted him. The North American Union is scheduled to be complete by 2010, unless a solid conservative candidate gets into the White House. I bet Ron Paul and the REVOLUTION have done the most to educate people about the dangerous plot among the financial elites. I pray he will succeed.

They talk about war profiteering, and yet they accept $6-figure salaries to drive a truck.

I notice the documentary never asked any of the interviewees how much of the American taxpayers' money they got.

It's isnt just Those Greedy Corporations(tm) doing this. Even fatcat war-corp executives just have their hand in the cookie jar for their share of the American dream.

The little guys are no better, and no worse. They dont make $42M in a year, but there aren't tens of 1,000s of these corporate executives either.

Everyone who contributes, is guilty. But no one wants to take their share of the responsibility - everything is always someone else's fault.

All this is a result of selfish greed of a small number so they can have ultimate power and to pad their own pockets at the expense of lives' and blood of those trying to protect a free society in America. The corruption in our Government needs to be weeded out and the numbers downsized as the constitution states so that the people of this country can take care of themselves and so other countries can take care of themselves as well.
The U.S. government is not capable of taking care of our own country, alone another country or 130 other countries. The government is to protect our country when we are being threatened here not because some vision or fictional possibility that was brought up behind closed doors or somthing that "might" have been heard in another country.
Let us clean our own house and yard before thinking of cleaning the neighbors. America would be much stronger by example when we get back to the structure that was founded by our fathers.
This video only proves that America is spinning out of control. If we do not get back on track we are going to lose all of our freedoms and liberties and the situations in this video will be happening to countless in our own homes. Police state, out of controled judges and political figures,the dumbing down and brain washing of our children and grand children in our public schools, wrongfully administered vaccinations, made up laws at local, state and federal only to gain control of ALL people, and on and on, it is happening as we speak. WAKE UP PEOPLE !

The inherent chaos and resulting inefficiencies of war inevitably lead to opportunities for making huge profits.

As champions of the free market, Ron Paul supporters need to recognize that the real evil here is the war itself, not the people who take advantage of the opportunities that are created for those who can solve the problems.

That said, because the government is in charge, the market is not free to deliver the best and most efficient solutions. Bribes and favoritism get in the way, to say the least. But still, the people making profits are simply taking advantage of the opportunities, whether they are created by natural consequences, or government corruption.

Yet another reason to avoid war, especially interventionist war, as if we needed another one.

This film is a pretty good analysis of America's thug caste and war pirates/profiteers--if you ignore some of the "leftist" undertones. Here in 1984, "democracy" is spread throughout the world via no-bid contracts.

For $400 million+ a day, this is what the U.S. taxpayer gets. And the Iraqi people are required to turn over 75% of their oil revenues for the privilege of transforming their country into a living nightmare.

Spread the spoils of war, and now days, that doesn't just include the booty you get from the defeated, it means channeling the funds to those contractors that send our "esteemed legistlators" campaign contributions. We've rotted to the core, and the masses sleep. Now our middle class is being thrown into such a feenzy with the contrived gas prices, mortgage meltdowns and the likes. We're so distracted now, that we can't even focus on anything. They have us scared for our jobs, our savings, our future. All by design, my friends. Ignore their bull. Stay focused, speak out, write out, and support Ron Paul!

I watched this movie on hbo or starz...I can not tell you how angry this made me....this is beyond the absurd and beyond criminal.....

It seems clear the corporate machine and the U.S. government are in a marriage. Indiana government doing the same. We signed over a chunk of property for a highway to a foreign company for 75 years! We got 3.000.000.000 they get who knows how much from tolls for 75 years.
