Glenn Beck?

Hey everyone, I was recently watching a little bit of the Glenn Beck show tonight, and he was actually talking very boldly about how the government needs to stop interfering with Americans, and how we need to stand up, because this country was founded on US, the people. I don't know if you guys like Glenn Beck, and I haven't watched him very much, so I haven't made a decision about him, but from what I have seen, he stands for decent family values, and he talks smart about most things.
Anyway, maybe we could get Ron Paul on his show (I don't know if Ron Paul has been on there or not?) However, he needs to get some airtime, and I think this would be a good place for him (Dr. Paul) to be on.
I sent Glenn an email, and asked him nicely if he would consider Ron Paul on his show. If we all sent him emails, maybe he would allow us to get Ron Paul on the show.

Common connection
Glen Beck is trying to appeal to those who believe that something is seriously wrong with the US. But like almost all of the so called conservative Mainstream talk show hosts, he backs the phony war on terror and is for preemptive wars. Mainstream radio presents the American people with a spectrum of choices and hosts that seem to cover every aspect of our frustration. However two things are always agreed on: Any Middle East country that stands up to the US or Israel is bad and the Iraq war is good. They can say just about anything else that comes to mind as long as they don't tread on those two subjects. These talkshow hosts serve a purpose. To give the citizens a bullhorn and feel like someone else is sharing there frustration and dealing with the problems that are so obvious. Glenn Beck can talk about how bad illegal immigration is all day long and nothing really ever gets done about it. However the listeners feel satisfied that there is a movement to stop it and therefore can go back to doing the little things they enjoy in life with a good conscience. In short, a good litmus test for any TV or radio host is to look at their opinion of the Iraq war and there general outlook on the Middle East. I think you will find a common connection with them all.
Is it a conspiracy? Well, if over half of the American people are against the war in Iraq and nearly 100% of the Mainstream hosts are for it, something is funny. Why wouldn't the media put up some true opposition to the war and Islam hating host. Maybe they have a central agenda.

That's how Glen thinks of himself. We've gotta get government off our backs, outta our wallets, and outta our bedrooms and just concentrate of kicking ass on terrorist nations. Well, Glen, that's an expensive proposition, at least the way it's being done now. Glen said last week that he does not support Ron Paul.

Glenn Beck's actually pretty good. Ron Paul was just on that show recently. But I e-mailed the show. Paul is being cheated BIGTIME in about every way possible. He needs all the exposure he can get! We certainly should bombard that show as well as other shows! Remember... Many people don't even think our hero is in the presidential race anymore. My own dad thought Paul had dropped out.

most all of the coments below - Mr. Beck is quite a dicotomy: on one hand he says all the right things, sounding like a true-blue Paulie! On the other hand, he says...or fails to say...the things that NEED to be put into the heads of his followers. I believe, as many posters below do, that he is part of the dis-information team. He should be viewed as 'entertainment', and nothing more.
Lou Dobbs on the other hand is probably more my speed. I don't hear the ambiguity from him that I do from Beck. Could be wrong, as someone below is quite dis-enchanted with Mr. Dobbs...but I'm happy to hear stories about the TransTexasCorridor and the evils of NAFTA on MSM. Lou's distain for our government seems genuine!

Glenn Beck wants to be on our side, but he has to tow the line when it comes to staying on the air. He's following their obvious agenda, but I think he really doesn't want to.

But for all the Paul ,what's his face that you uttered in the past, By his interest in us,,, I see he has not given up on us and really we have not given up on him. It was like a child begining to see,,,then as quick as it begain he became selectivly blind . There is one father to this movement and Glenn was given several chances to stand up for us and Ron . He preaches the same doctrine as Dr. Paul, yet continues to declare that there is no real conservative running. When confronted by Dr. Paul's statements and platform, instead of support he labels him ' the mayor of crazytown'.
He's a Judas goat, leading the flock to slaughter as Limbaugh did wit NAFTA and GATT. They are Neo-Con shills at best. Watch them with caution and remember they are not your friends.

I agree with you, Beck is definately a tool! Let's not forget that he thinks that we, (Ron Paul supporters) are comparable to terrorists! There is no way he can be trusted, Ron Paul has already been on his show and he had his chance to prove he supports his candidacy, he said he agrees with "most" of what Dr. Paul has to say, but still refuses to give an inkling of support, and harms those who do by the defaming way in which he refers to us. http://www.wakeupfromyour... Glenn Beck seems to be multi personality. He 'says' many things that would have you think he is a RP supporter, but then he mocks Ron Paul
much of the time...Ive sent him reminders of disdain for this...all you ever get is a bounced back acknowlegement of msg.
Glenn Beck could propel Dr. Paul to the top, but he just cannot be trusted to do that...(sometimes his silly rants on the radio are just too much senseless air filler, that is SO critical in talk radio) (Give me Neal Boortz anyday!)

Neal Boortz is at the top of the neocon list of those that spent years convincing the population that he was a libertarian/independent. This is complete rubbish, and anyone that listens to 1-2 of his shows should be able to detect his motive. He is pro war (very libertarian) a racist, the most outspoken in radio against Ron Paul, he is a neocon shill without a doubt. I am in the car much of the work day and I have listened to Boortz since 1998, but this was just his prelude into 2006 where he let it all hang out. Looking back at his die hard libertarian values as he traveled with Shawn Hannity all over the country and appears on H&C all the time. Listen to him for 2 shows and he is certain to show his true colors. There is one thing about the neocons that I do like, and that is they are so confident that what they are doing will go un-interrupted that they get bold enough to really show their true colors without anyone asking any questions.

Glenn Beck..
Is one of the few Commentators that I can tolerate. He agrees with Dr. Paul on the economy, No Amnesty, and especially Freedom, and Liberty, but he is fickle just as most of the media boneheads. I know he has given Dr. Paul some great airtime, and has agreed with him on most issues with the exception of the war, that is where Glenn has to follow his masters and feed into the lies we have been told about terrorism, or I should say the "War on Terror". I do not believe that Glenn understands blowback, and that we are fighting a war against terrorism that does not exist as we know it. I am not saying there aren't any terrorists, because there are, but they were initially small in numbers. Seems to me that our government has created a bigger monster in the middle east just with our presence, and these so-called terrorists have grown in numbers and rightfully so. I believe we Americans would do the same to protect our family, and our country if we were invaded, I sure know I would.
Someone mentioned that Glenn had called Ron Paul supporters terrorists, well he did so because he actually received threats from some of them, or someone claiming to be a supporter, which I believe was wrong. I have written Glenn Beck on numerous occasions with information regarding Ron Paul and his stance on issues, and he seems to agree with Dr. Paul, with the exception of the war. I believe Glenn must listen to his masters on CNN, and must keep the big war machine alive because CNN is highly invested financially in this bogus "War On Terror" scheme, same as all the other mainstream media sources. Just think about it, if the media really wanted to voice the American citizens opinion about the war, they would have given Ron Paul more coverage, but they have nothing to gain in doing that, it's all about the money for them, and they will spin it to their advantage. War makes media, big corporations, and big government more money, that is the bottom line.
Do Not Trust Him
Beck has no substance. I've heard enough to not care what he says one way or the other. It is one thing to be uninformed, its another to have a radio and TV show and still be uninformed.
I'm not surprised to see the neocons hedge their positions now, but it is too little, too late and they know it. The best Beck can do to help the neocons is to add confusion to the public debate. Do not be fooled. Beck is one of them and they can keep him.

I have always been against

I don't judge you, you didn't know, but nothing good can come of Ron Paul appearing on Glenn Beck's show again. Beck is a hack, and Paul is a class act. Ron Paul is too good for Glenn Beck's show, and I think he finally realizes that.

He was on the show a few months back...you should be able to still find it on youtube. Beck talks a good game at times, I often like alot of what he has to say but at the same time I trust him about as far as I can throw him. Sometimes he can be a total douchebag on national television, but he is what he his....old media.

.. has been on Glenn Beck's show a few times. Beck even dedicated 30 minutes to him back during the peak of the campaign.
Beck has in the past been a hardline supporter of Bush and the wars but in the past few months has come out strongly against Bush's policies especially with regards to the coming economic disaster but also about ethanol and immigration. Beck still seems to be pro-war and hardline with respect to islamic countries.
