This is just in from Sen. Coburn’s office. Obama has authored a bill, and it is now in the Senate, to give the UN .7% of our GNP to be used to feed hungry 3rd worlders, AND to use UN force to disarm you and me and all gun owners. No one in the media has brought this to the attention of the general sheeple out here.

It'll never happen! Too many well armed and competent shooters to contend with. They may outlaw ammunition. We may need proficient reloaders and black market ammunition supplies in the future. I would love to see some NAU cops try and disarm me--there'd be hell to pay
The Whole Gun Thing in a Different Light
The government, regardless of the President, is not going to attempt to disarm the people. First, there are plenty of guns in the US. I personally don't have a problem with there being more but this will be the only thing the government can control. Most guns in the US are in a status where the government doesn't know who has them.
Here in Texas, it would take martial law to even make a dent in the supply of existing weapons. What such an attempt would do is make weapons only available outside the law. Just look how well the war on drugs has worked. If you need a gun you will be able to go to any high school and get what you want.
Who is worse?
Mccain, Hilary or Obama. Holy cow we are in trouble.

Look at the +/- of each of the three and decide which is the least worst.
We'd be better off with 4 more years of W...
Anyone else thinking the same thing? I'd take back W for 4 more, I'd take back Bill over W...I'd take back Daddy Bush over Clinton (at least his war was over quick) and i'd take back Reagan over all of them.

but i love this t shirt. in fact i just ordered the baby blue one. i can't wait until some Obama fan tries to say something. i won't even mention Ron Paul at first. i will simply ask them to point out one good idea has that Obama has. hopefully they go for socialized health care. i will then proceed to rip it apart.

the gun stuff is
not in the bill itself. It is in the UN Millennium document that is used as reference in the bill. The document is very confusing and can easily be argued either way (disarming or not). Though I believe it was written that way in order to convince people of one thing while really meaning something else. Which should not suprise anyone.

The gun ban refers to a U.N mandate. We cant continue to be a UN member without disbanding our guns. I remember the UN handbook says 1 religion, 1 government , 1 currency. If you remember after we made the UN we started to disarm countries.
I went to opencongress.org to research the bills. There is 5 different poverty bills( 2 by Obama) (2 by UN). The one this article refers to says it will cost .4 a person. The UN bill says 1.00 a person. There all different and very confusing and long. Theres not a lot of specifics mostly general ideas.
But you can see it is a UN mandated bill. The UN will be in charge of the program and collecting taxes on all of us.

Read the bill and don't see any mention of firearms. With some of the disturbing court cases pending, I am worried about the second amendment.
This bill is a massive handout to corrupt organizations, including the UN, that our children will have to pay for.

Obama, Clinton, and McCain are socialistic in differing and, perhaps, equally-damaging ways. We really need to groom a Ron-Paul type candidate for the 2012 election, and he or she needs to start campaigning right after the bogus 2008 election. Seriously.
I had the same thought.
But I don't know if our nation will last much past that date (as in blown up, Wormwood, given away to the UN, etc).

show me where it states "in that bill" a requirement to disarm American citizens.
The bill is a crock, but the arms issue is not clear. I have seen multiple posts claiming this, but I can't find it in the bill. If you can't show it, then you should not just pass along someone else's conjecture.
If I am wrong, I apologize - I just don't see the reference to small arms elimination for us.

It looks to me Obama's bill supports the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day. I don't see anything about disarming the US.
In the UN plan it mentions "end illicit traffic in small arms and light weapons, especially by making arms transfers more transparent and supporting regional disarmament measures". How much effort does it take to make something illicit?
In the UN Report of the United Nations Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects it states in Section II paragraph 30 "To support, where appropriate, national disarmament". The way the system works the ruling party could very easily use this verbage to justify making gun ownership in America illicit.
The bill is still garbage. Let the Chinese send money instead of us borrowing it to send.

I read some articles after googling this bill. It appears as if it is aimed to provide money to earth citizens that happen to live off of less than $1 dollar a day by 2015. By my rough calculations... if inflation keeps at this rate, they will be living on at least $4 a day by 2015. Problem solved! Lets light this bill on fire. How can We the People stop this unConstitutional tax?
