Romney's $2300

When I go to huffingtonpost.com/fundrace to look up who is contributing by zip code, it DOES look like Mitt is getting all the $2300 donations. I have looked at Wyoming, Iowa, Mich, Nevada, NH. He is getting the lion's share.
My simple survey, though not really methodical since I picked the zips with the most donations to review, tell me Mitt Romny is really getting the donations, then comes McCain, then comes Giuliani and with a sprinkle hear and there is Thompson and a wild rare donation for Paul.......very very very few for Huckabee, Brownback, Tankrado...etc.
Paul's donations are small, like $500.
The other candidates get the full amount sent or close to it.
Judging from this, I would say Romney is going to sweep the primaries. Once someone sends in $2300, you vote for who you Paid for.
Here is what I suspect. The Romney crowd PURCHASED or got somehow the Registared Voter list of names and addresses. According to their own website....They have Call Centers calling every day and night.
Where is our call center? What are we doing ? Are we going to start calling people one week before Primaries? That dog won't hunt.
Having NO Call Center RIGHT NOW pains me. The meetup group heads across the Country SHOULD HAVE A COMPLETE REGISTERED VOTER LIST PROVIDED TO THEM to use for direct mail campaigns......I have no clue how to get such a list. Does anyone?

Don't jump to conclusions.
Don't jump to conclusions. Take Barry Manilow, for example. He donated the full $2,300 to Hillary. So is it a done deal that he will vote for her? Well, he also donated the same amount to Joe Biden, and John Edwards, and even.... Ron Paul. So just because you donate the full amount doesn't mean you'll necessarily vote for that person in the primary.
Secondly, for the number of $2,300 donations to be a strong indicator that he has firm support that will win him the primary, you would have to compare the number of $2,300 donations with the number of Ron Paul donations. The reason being, not every $2,300 donation is a rock-solid vote for the reason I just explained, yet just about every donation, even those as small as a few dollars, to the Ron Paul campaign you can bet are rock-solid votes in the primary. So I would compare the number of large Romney donors to the number of Ron Paul donors (large or small). That might be a more accurate comparison.

I wonder if all the 2300.00 dollar donars consulted thier attorneys before they gave thier 2300.00 bucks... gees with a line like that about a very serious question how he can get 2 cents is beyond me.. sometimes the people in this country really are stupid!

OK Romney is getting some big contributors
that are making the max amount. Now, consider that a contributor is most likely to go and vote. Dr. Paul's average donation in the past quarter was $40. That works out to be 57.5 donors per $2300 raised. I'd rather have the 57 donors with $40 than 1 with $2300. Remember, the grassroots is the working class and a lot of students that have more limited financial resources.

As fate would have it, I just recieved a phone call from a nice young woman from
MDS Communications Call Center for hire.
She asked about abortion and if I was against Barbra Boxers proposed pro-abortion legislation.
Then she asked if she could send stuff to my address and asked for my committement for $20 or more. "How much can I put you down for?'
Then I asked if MDS does Call Center work for any republican or democratic candidate. The answer was no, but they do work for the Republican Party which can help political candidates.

So they do rake in money for the GOP which, I gather, can help political political candidates. Where is Huckabee getting all his New Money? Mmmm my suspicious mind.
Anyway, MDS Communications is set up as a Call Center, Has all the registared voter lists, and lists of republicans and phone numbers --- she would not say how they had my CELL number or office address.... I don't hide that, so iit could come from anywhere.
So, the Ron Paul Campaign COULD hire these guys..... perhaps.

a call from these people today also and I told them that I am supporting Ron Paul and that I agree with Dr. Pauls idea to take abortion out of the federal courts and let each state decide.

One important thing to
remember is all the other candidates are excepting corporate business money and that goes for non--corporate businesses too.
I as a business owner admire Ron Paul for not accepting any money other than from citizens.
I know that with the mail in contributions not added and the appearance of Ron Paul tomorrow night on The Tonight Show we will go over $3
million.
quit comparing and focus on the messages each candidate is delivering because i believe when Dr. Paul says that people are mad and they won't support any candidate that switches his beliefs like Romney,Giuliani,Thompson,McCain and Huckabee are doing.

Any logical, rational human being could not object to the idea's paul has expressed. It is not money that produces votes, it is the person and his support. And were doing exceptional at that.

Yes but when I see on a list of 10 republican voters, 7 send him $2300....thats impressive. I am sure that is 7 votes. As long as money rolls in he can afford to fund his own race. My only hope is that his campain reports are complete, and the others are slow or not complete in reporting their donations.
Romney Vs. Paul
I feel differently about it. Romney has advertised agressively and bused people to straw polls and fixed others through text messagers (if you can imagine!) It's great that he's getting $2300 contributions, and I would like to see more of those for Ron Paul.
So, go ahead with your idea which sounds like a good one. I think Ron Paul will get votes, because his supporters are so active and loyal.
