The funds that pay pension and health benefits to police officers, teachers and millions of other public employees across the country are facing a shortfall that could soon run into trillions of dollars.
But the accounting techniques used by state and local governments to balance their pension books disguise the extent of the crisis facing these retirees and the taxpayers who may ultimately be called on to pay the freight, according to a growing number of leading financial analysts.
State governments alone have reported they are already confronting a deficit of at least $750 billion to cover the cost of the retirement benefits they have promised. But that figure likely underestimates the actual shortfall because of the range of methods they use to make their calculations, including practices that have been barred in the private sector for decades.

Vallejo, CA has either filed for bankruptcy or is very close to doing so. Someone speaking on the city's behalf had the following to say:
"It has been pushed to the breaking point, city officials say, by union contracts with firefighters and police it can't afford or renegotiate."
Lynn, last week there was a congressional hearing
that addressed this. It was to discuss who was to be treated FIRST in the case of a natural disaster or national emergency. They actually said the older people with dementia would be the last to be treated.
Does anyone have the info on this? This I wrote is just my recollection of what I heard on the news.

One flaw in that plan: Generally speaking, older Americans are the most easily gulled by the MSM, the least likely to buy into (truthful) conspiracy theories, and the most obeisant to the government, its silly stupid flag, its wars, and so on.
Younger Americans often have a high degree of socialist indoctrination from government schools, but are also least likely to support the New World Order and its state functions. Most of those likely to rebel against tyranny and martial law are also in that age demographic.
Kill off the older Americans with population control schemes, and no one is left but the angry and rebellious.
I know these "architects" are arrogant and stupid, but surely they aren't THAT arrogant and stupid?

It is 10:40 am central time, May 11, 2008
in Austin, Texas and we are being
sprayed heavily this morning. We awoke this morning to
an unusually heavy amount of lines across the sky bleeding
outwards. Within 30 minutes, both of us were extremely agitated,
irritated and my lungs were hurting. The four ranch dogs that
were outside all night and morning were whining and scratching
their ears, which is an unusual response for them all to be doing.
My lungs were hurting so much I immediately went into one of the
rooms in the house which has heavy air purifiers. We also
have an air analyzer from the company Dylos, it measures air
particulates and it usually is reading between 25 to 75 normally,
it was reading 2500 this morning. My husband had to clean the
pool this morning and stayed outside, within 30 more minutes his
nose was running heavily, he had diarrhea and felt bad. He
finished up and came inside the clean air room.
We are being poisoned. It causes cancer. It kills the elderly.
We have a neighbor that is 80 and is near death due to respiratory
illness. Got a call from an old friend in Portland and she has
colon cancer. Talked to my maid yesterday and she has been
cleaning a house for a woman for 5 years and this woman has
been diagnosed with stomach cancer just recently and is dying.
We go to many estate sales throughout Texas and the elderly
are dying. My husband shoots medical VNR's for the medical
community and on the days that they are spraying chemtrails,
the emergency rooms are full.
Wake up people, wake up. It is time to tell Everyone!!
Stop being afraid of being labeled nutty, this is our life we
are talking about, and if you are not concerned about your life
be concerned about your children. Time to wake up before its
too late.

Why do you think they want everyone on a government health care program?
Have you ever read the warnings printed on the paper of instructions.
Read about the side affects. Every drug (as in every) has health side effects.
Even if you pay for your own legal drugs there are negative side effects (some worse than illegal drugs).
Government health care is the system that can be best used to kill old and young alike. Doctors bury their mistakes ( and maybe some of their successes) that is just the way it works.
When they give you a shot or do an operation do you know what is in the drugs they give you? Do you know the side effects?

My father passed away last
My father passed away last September. He left this world with few worldly possessions and lived out his entire retirement with nothing more than Social Security benefits and the other benefits that go with being a senior citizen. From the time my father was placed in hospice care. My family and myself fought and struggled for whatever we could to make his last days as comfortable as possible. However, those that had been charged with his care had only sought to reduce his care. It was as if now that they knew he hadn't long to live that they wish it over soon since the funding that they would have received would no longer be there, at least not for this man, and they would not have to "do" anything to make it so. Merely refrain form doing anything. This had become clear the last year of his life. With various changes in care due to overlapping benefits and such. I could see the difference between different teams of social workers. His emergency providers were far more assertive than his primary caregivers and the whole experience was quite revealing.
What this boils down to for me is that if you are providing short term temporary services you are likely fighting and struggling for your services. For if you are not a good service provider then the primary service providers have not reason to farm out their work load to you.
Did they try and kill off my father? No. Did they care less about providing adequate care? Yes.

It's amazing how patients and are treated. Rush them in from ER and after a couple days rush them out. Their is no regard for their health. It's all based on HMO's. The Social Workers in charge of their discharge from the hospitals where under tremendous pressure by the insurance companies.

My thought is that they will come out with a drug that will fix one thing and cause another. Well, actually they do this already; the drugs they give for cholesterol help with that but what they don't tell you is that it destroys the heart. Then there's chemo...

Reminds me of a movie...
"Soylent Green". It's a movie set in the future when society is completely under government control, including the food they eat. Ultimately, old people are encouraged to "meet their maker" at will and the government facilitates them. However, the populace is being fed soylent green and they don't know what it is. Take a wild guess!! I think Charleston Heston was in it; you know, the guy who said, "...from my cold, dead hands!" about our right to bear arms. But, that's another issue.

This article refers to health care rationing in a pandemic. Who can doubt that a national health system will also lead to rationing of care? We're already overextended on existing social welfare programs. When national health care becomes a reality, the overseers will be forced to develop a system of triage to ensure that the available products and services go to the young and the strong with the best chance of survival.

But yes you can! But it must be organic and it will be made with cane sugar. It costs a ton more...but not only is it better for you...but also helps support a farmer who's telling the government and corporations to piss off.
Just as a side note....did you know that the medicine that they want you to take for high cholest. will damage your liver but if you eat a certain type of red rice you will naturally lower your bad cholest.
The rice is what they ground up to make the base of the meds that you get but since it's in its natural form your body breaks it down without the damage.
A while back I read that
A while back I read that some pharmaceutical company owns the patent to whatever it is inside red yeast rice which is effective against cholesterol. The company didn't invent anything, it is a naturally occurring substance. They were just the first to patent it. Because of the patent, nobody can harvest and sell the substance.
