Why Has John McCain Abandoned the American Soldier?

George Bush, Dick Cheney, and John McCain are sending a razor-sharp message to the fighting men and women of America.
It's underlined again in bright, fresh, blood-red every time a tank in Bahgdad is blown up by an IED and shrapnel rips into another soldier's flesh.
It's written in script-letters of grimy dust along the floors and walls of fly-infested VA hospitals.
It's spelled out in the invisible ink of the GI Bill that's still not passed -- the critically-important Webb/Hagel bill, sponsored by two gutsy Senators (and veterans) with the courage not to quit in the face of cold-blooded Bush/McCain resistance.

Songbird McCain
In what I've been reading, McCain had collaborated after his capture in order to have his broken limbs treated (he had broken both arms and legs during ejection over North Viet Nam.... tuck next time, Maverick!).
The stories of his torture have been disputed by fellow prisoners but he went on to make propaganda films for his captors.
Once in power as a senator, he took great strides to see to it that all transcripts of all prisoner interrogation be permanently sealed by the Vietnamese.
I have to wonder why someone who was supposedly a victim of torture would advocate such a practice on our own prisoners. You would think someone with this background would be the champion of veterans, instead they despise him. Just went to a local AFL lodge with a friend. Most of the men are RP supporters. Even they don't like McCain.
I printed out stuff for the friend who invited me (not computer savvy, had heard of Dr. Paul but didn't know a lot about him) and I think we have another convert.
Could it be that Songbird McCain is a traitor using his political influence to hide an embarrassing past? Let's hear from some of his contemporaries about this because I'd sure like to know the truth about the man!
Anyone have links to McCain's fellow prisoners? Are they being kept quiet somewhere? Will there be a 'swiftboat' incident in McCain's future?

You took the post right out of my mouth... He is a traitor to those left in Vietnam, as well; he is a traitor to the U.S. in that he is prepared to open the doors to ruin for this country. A spoiled child that barely becaame a pilot, crashed several, and then knowingly shut out the POW/MIA families that supported him and others before he was ever captured. He is a disgrace to the uniform, and certainly no president.
