Voter ID Battle Shifts to Proof of Citizenship

http://www.nytimes.com/20...

"The battle over voting rights will expand this week as lawmakers in Missouri are expected to support a proposed constitutional amendment to enable election officials to require proof of citizenship from anyone registering to vote.

The measure would allow far more rigorous demands than the voter ID requirement recently upheld by the Supreme Court, in which voters had to prove their identity with a government-issued card.

Sponsors of the amendment — which requires the approval of voters to go into effect, possibly in an August referendum — say it is part of an effort to prevent illegal immigrants from affecting the political process. Critics say the measure could lead to the disenfranchisement of tens of thousands of legal residents who would find it difficult to prove their citizenship."

Another use the illegal immigrants serve the NWO. Allowing them to take more severe measures against us. It is all too blatant....

I love this...

"the measure could lead to the disenfranchisement of tens of thousands of legal residents who would find it difficult to prove their citizenship"

So what? This is a first for me, I am not sure where you live as an individual, but the farthest thing the local or federal government does around here is anything but convenient. How many people think that the government has made it easy to get your tags, get a new drivers license, voters registration card, and so on? Why in the world would they care how easy it is to obtain a valid voters card? This really shows their true colors as they try to make an issue on the basis of the possible disenfranchisement who would find it difficult to prove their citizenship. The one thing I can guarantee you is that immigrants that are here legally can quickly prove that they are legal, so they have no basis to fight this.
