POLL: How big of a roll should Ron Paul play in the convention?

Look, what good is any of it? Speak at the Convention to a bunch of die-hard NeoCon power hungry McCainites? Forget about it....

A speaking roll at the convention? What good will that do? Seriously? Few will want to even listen. The elites if forced, would put him on first thing in the morning when few are there and many are just finding the place.

Lets go over the facts.

Ron Paul is all about "Spreading the Message".
He is 72.
He knowledge is great and time is limited.

That means future generations. That means Ron wants to explain and talk to future generations who need to know. If you want Ron Paul to have the biggest influence over this country, do what Milton Freedman did with his highly successful and widely popular 10 part Free To Choose series. Do a new updated FREE TO CHOOSE series, this time with Ron Paul explaining and then debating. That simple but highly effective formate was brilliant yet never copied. The first 30 minutes Ron can go around explaining his view on a single issue. The second 30 minutes he can then debate the issue with 4 or 5 others who may or may not agree. Those others should be famous intellectuals in their own right. For those of us who still remember comming home to watch Milton on PBS take on socialist Michael Harrington, convience Donald Rumsfeld, get Thomas Sowell to shaking his head yes, yes, yes, to Steel CEO's try to argue why steel import quotas where a good thing, to Detroit Congressman try to explain why we must "protect Detroit", and on and on.

If Ron Paul seriously wants to make an IMPACT... then he can follow in no finer footsteps then Dr. Milton Friendman's Free To Choose seriers. He can even pay homage to Dr. Friedman's Pencil Lecture and his Hong Kong lecture on Free Trade. He can even discuss the printing of the dollar since Milton (with Paul Volcure's help) pushed the stop button on the printing presses in 1980.

The fact of the matter is this is an INTELLECTUAL war as much as it is a War of the Heart for Freedom.

As Milton used to say, That evil guy Tyranny is the natural state of mankind, but sweet freedom, she is the rarest and most beautiful thing.... We must work over time to protect her.

My idea, DRAFT Dr. Paul into a Campaign to update the FREE TO CHOOSE series. Copy its wonderful and engaging and successful format.

Future Republicans and Democrats will all feel the Ron Paul taste of Freedom and join our big Revolution for Liberty.
