Ron Paul's Campaign Cash? Got Ideas?

What should Ron Paul do with his Campaign Cash?

Tell me your opinion.

Here is mine.

Some say we should work to get Ron to Speak at the Convention to a bunch of die-hard NeoCon power hungry McCainites? I say Forget about it....they won't listen, and if forced, they will put him on to speak in the first 20 minutes when everyone is filling in and getting their morning coffee and learning their way around the place.

I say the REVOLUTION for Liberty is bigger than the GOP Convention.

Lets go over the facts.

Ron Paul is all about "Spreading the Message".
He is 72.
His knowledge & talent is great, but his time is limited.

That means future generations.

He wants to speak to Future Generations.

So fellow patriots, if you want Ron Paul to have the biggest influence over this country, do what Dr. Milton Friedman did to influence my generation.

Do a FIRST CLASS Television series and REMAKE the widely popular 10 part FREE TO CHOOSE program.

Do a new updated FREE TO CHOOSE series, this time with Ron Paul explaining and then debating others, such as Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, and many others.

That simple but highly effective formate was brilliant yet never copied. The first 30 minutes Ron can go around explaining his view on a single issue. The second 30 minutes he can then debate the issue with 4 or 5 others who may or may not agree. Those others should be famous intellectuals in their own right.

For those of us who still remember coming home to watch Milton on PBS take on socialist Michael Harrington, convince Donald Rumsfeld, get Thomas Sowell to shaking his head yes, yes, yes, listen Steel CEO's try to argue why steel import quotas where a good thing, to Detroit Congressman try to explain why we must "protect Detroit", and on and on-----it was a life changing experience. For the country's intellectuals, it was a loud wake up call. For America, it was a big deep breath of Freedom that many ascribe to Ronald Reagan. Intellectually, the country had moved from Center LEFT, to Center Right. It is still there to this day.

The POWER of the program's format cannot be underestimated. It was a brilliant format. It begs to be repeated.

Dr. Ron Paul will be up to the task, I assure you. I am sure he has seen it. I am sure he, like me, was heavily influenced by it. I am sure he will appreciate the great honor to follow in Dr. Friedman's footsteps today, some 30 years later.

So my friends, if you want Ron Paul to seriously wants to make an IMPACT... then give him this idea. Let him know you love it. He can follow in no finer footsteps then Dr. Milton Friedman's Free To Choose series. He can even pay homage to Dr. Friedman's Pencil Lecture and his Hong Kong lecture on Free Trade. He can even discuss the printing of the dollar since Milton "pushed" the stop button on the printing presses in 1980.

The fact of the matter is this is an INTELLECTUAL war as much as it is a passionate Revolution ...a War for the Heart & Soul of America.

As Milton used to say, ...tyranny is the natural state of mankind, but sweet freedom, she is the rarest and most beautiful thing.... We must work over time to protect her.

My idea is this, DRAFT Dr. Paul into a Campaign to update the FREE TO CHOOSE series is Your idea if you like it. Spread the word. Copy its wonderfully engaging and successful format. Fire up the minds of future Americans. That is what Dr. Paul wants to do. Only then will future Republicans and Democrats join our big Revolution for Liberty.

We will have our President..... but we must grow the crops first.
