Note that if the GOP powers-that-be agree with this analysis, they will be forced to consider treating Ron Paul supporters with more respect, maybe even inviting Ron Paul to speak, if they want to win them over.
Problem is, Ron Paul won't compromise on his positions, so McCain may have to change some of his.
Should be an interesting negotiation.
Of course, Barr is not the nominee, only one of many prospects, but he does get media attention, and is considered a serious threat.
Sen. McCain has not seen the critical analysis that has attended the Obama/Clinton contest. I think that the MSM will leave him alone until it's time for the general election campaign, then the time will come for McCain's public destruction. (McCain evidently doesn't want to wait that long, so he's been engaging in his own form of negative campaigning....against himself.) I am inclined to believe that the MSM has the GOP candidate that they want; someone so completely unqualified and politically distasteful that a democratic victory in November (a very large one) will be all but insured. Either way, the concept of liberty takes another body blow. With Rome ablaze, the MSM still wants to talk about the relative skills of the proffered fiddle players. Let Dr. Paul show up with a fire hose and he's treated as some alien from the planet Nebulon. I do find some satisfaction that Dr. Paul's supporters are still denying McCain the GOP popular support that, according to the article, one would expect to be present since McCain's "presumptive nominee" status was generated by the MSM months ago.
Great Analysis and Points out the value of Barr

IMissLiberty
I agree with the article's assertion that, thus far,
