Need suggestions for GA state convention. Also district report.

Hey everybody, adelegate here again. I am a delegate for the GA state convention coming up this weekend. I am a member of the GA Ron Paul delegate meetup group, but I was having trouble figuring out how things are organizing.

First, a belated report from the 2nd congressional district convention in Bainbridge, GA. There were a total of two Ron Paul delegates that I was aware of. We proposed numerous resolutions to the resolutions committee. They quickly watered down everything into a statement that "We support Reagan, Liberty, and the Constitution." We could not get them to get specific. Efforts were made to propose from the floor but we were quickly blocked.

Vastly outnumbered we had to settle to pass that resolution (but with nothing specific it was useless) and they passed a resolution thanking themselves for holding the convention. Both RP supporters made an effort to go to the National Convention. 3 spots (+ 3 alts) and 9 total people trying to get in and the spots were given under the buddy system. So shut down.

The meeting was adjourned without anything else being done. Everything was a formality. People did not believe they could change anything.

So after that I come to the state convention with many of the same questions. How/where are we organizing? What do I do to prevent being steamrolled like at the district convention? I know that we will have more of a presence so hopefully we can pull a Nevada.
