Who to vote for if not Dr. Paul

May I ask a question of the Dr. Paul community?
IF, in the unlikely (smile) event that Dr. Paul does not get the Republican nomination, all along my plan has been to write his name in. I do not consider this a wasted vote.
Voting for John McCain or Barack Obama would be a wasted vote, imo. -- wasted because why would I vote for my own downfall? -- which I feel they both represent, either with the furtherance of foreign entanglements, the dispossession of Americans in their own country (illegal immigration) or leftist, essentially Stalinist, domestic policies.
But with the entrance of Dr. Chuck Baldwin into the race as the Constitutionalist Party, I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
I almost feel that doing anything other than voting for Dr. Paul is sort of like infidelity (smile.) But, I do approve of many of Dr. Baldwin's columns. What do you guys think? Write in Dr. Paul or vote for Dr. Baldwin?

Just watched the vid in the "Not over yet" thread, and I see BB into-ing RP. That jogged my memory of the BB/RP meeting a few months back.
Questions: Has RP ever been near this CB guy? Does RP have any kind words for CB? Has RP ever been a member of the CP? Does the CP exist in more than a few states? Do they (CP) have the same or better ballot access than the LP? Doesn't the CP have like 100 times more of a fringe element (equaling far less members) than the LP?

with only 1 million of us voting for Ron Paul so far
I doubt we will get Baldwin or Barr anywhere. I say we stick to Ron Paul and have faith that our delegates will get the job done. We must keep the faith in our delegates and focus on the goal. Our delegates already kicked Fox New's ass into submission. We have a powerful group, don't steer off the path.

I tried to watch the vid, but the word god was said in the first 25 words, and I just can't stomach that kind of pious attitude.
Ron Paul remembered the quote of Sinclair Lewis when asked about the 'cross' in the Hucksters tv ad back in December. Remember that? Anyways, the quote is "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross"
I can't be sure about the 100% part, wearing his religion on his sleeve like that. That is something RP would never do. After watching hundreds of RP videos, I can't recall him talking about religion even once.

I will write-in Ron Paul.
My final decision will be on election day. I won't, however, be voting for the Constitution Party. Mary is my second choice.
My humble perspective.
Ron Paul is a humble, godly man of high integrity and intellect, as well as an amazingly honorable resolve. My family and friends have known him as such since around the middle ’70s. He’s only changed his stance on any given issue when he has learned a better way. Other than that, the gentleman has not budged an inch in any impoortant way. The only man I respect more is my own father (who is now working on a book written from a combined constitutional and biblical perspective). (Dad was almost murdered by the Secret Service, partly for sharing information about the monopoly money game with the public.)
In terms of conscience and honor, I could not possibly vote for anyone else. I’ll simply write Ron’s name in if necessary.
My advice to you: Just follow your own conscience on Election Day. May God bless.

But Chuck Baldwin is very lined up with the Freedom Message
of RP ... a big RP supporter - very much running on the Constitution
message. This 3rd Party is a strong option - if needed.

Ron Paul is the only one not telling us lies. He's taken great care and risk to expose the truth and is the ONLY champion of the Constitution in Gov't today. Who cares about Baldwin. He is trying to capitalize on the momentum of the movement and hopes to take votes away from Paul. Never gonna happen with me.

Baldwin is a big supporter of Ron Paul's, and Ron Paul shows signs of supporting the Constitution Party, based on comments in interviews.

"This campagn is not about Ron Paul." And he is right. Just because we lose our number one choice, does not mean that we can't get the numbers behind another to take back our country.
