last night on his talk show, Mike Gallagher talked about his appearance in the video segment and said that if John McCain was really smart, he would allow Ron Paul to speak at the convention. (I think he meant the GOP...not McCain)
He said he had deep respect for Ron Paul supporters...that they cared, were passionate, enthusiastic...and were constitutionalists!
...and that Ron Paul, words to this effect, had brilliantly channeled his message.
However...he did not like that Bob Barr was running and felt that he was hurting the GOP.

I was pretty pleased, overall, at the interview. These days,
we're lucky to get any kind of interview on the air. It did send a good message regarding Dr. Paul and his army of supporters; in that, we're not going to give up. We're going to keep going after the neocons and we will keep holding them up to public view and scrutiny. If the GOP is so bound and determined to nominate a politically suicidal candidate as John McCain, then at least all must be made aware of exactly what results they will harvest from this unnecessarily tragic decision. Recently, I saw a cartoon of an elephant (marked "GOP") holding a gun to its own head. On the gun was printed the name: John McCain.

Ron Paul and his supporters believe in the Constitution (2nd greatest document ever written) and the Declaration of Independence (greatest document ever written). I invite you to try reading them and listen to Ron Paul's message and then email me explaining why we are so nuts.
The subtle manipulation techniques you were attempting with the fake laughter when you said "it would be great to have Ron Paul speak at your convention", calling Ron Paul's supporters nuts then back peddling were extremely transparent. These tactics reveal quite a bit about the type of person your are, I would say low self esteem and little real intelligence on the subject matter. So your last and only defense is to belittle and insult your superior opponent, because your are incapable of any real debate.

It's interesting
to watch how the tide is turning. It is slow but noticeable. To speak about Ron Paul and his supporters without total derision is respectable and then of course your have the obligatory deragatory comment BUT he did back-track on it.
Unprecedented, though I don't trust their fickle ways.

Freedom lovers and Constitution minded people are speaking up and it time to fight for our rights that we believe in. We need to double our efforts to inform the masses of what happening to our country so that can choose to take the "red" pill and see how far the rabbit hole goes.

This is why I believe that these people are mentally ill and are unstable and could never be dealt with rationally. They will not listen to reason. They are an organized, half-educated mob. They are corrupt to the core.

Sure he did. And you bought that backpeddling. He also said he hasn't been in this business this long and not know how to backpeddle and get himself out of a mess his mouth has gotten him into. Then he did all that head down laughing. He was trying as hard as he could to twist it into disrespect. He was pushing to see how accepted it would be. It has always gone unchallenged Not this time. I think the question is not "How can we become more organized?" but "How can we become more effective?"
Maybe that means more organization, maybe less, maybe no change. (One of our advantages is the diversity of approaches, simultaneously exectued. These hit on all sides with moves that can't all be deflected by a single set of countermoves. Organization tends to enhance a few of our activities by suppressing the others.)
What it does mean is to find additional tactics that work, or work better than what we're already doing, and implement them.

Can't stand the guy who said this, but I loved what he said, "Ron Paul is the only person who has a bob head doll after him whose head doesn't move." I think he means he says the same thing every time. He doesn't dance around the issues and change his mind.
