Washington D.C. Police to be Armed With AR-15 Rifles This Summer

Police in Miami and Los Angeles already use the weapons, and Chicago police have plans to use them in the near future.

this is nothing new.theyve had them in my hometown(portland, me..) for some years now..the reason is that they were carrying shotguns and the ar-15 is more accurate and less likely to hit an innocent bystander than a buckshot from a shotgun...youre not going to stop police from being armed and this is actually a good thing...

Theyre semi in the first, place so did you illegally convert them to fullys? Like you accuse this brave soldier.

And he was previously charged with carrying a pistol in a state its legal in!!!
AR-15 semi to full kit
Yes there is a kit that you can convert it to full auto but I believe that's illegal as the gun is registered as semi. I know someone that had that done though as a gift from an ex navy seal. Gun even has an inscription on it very nice looking.
The AR-15 for those that don't know is very similiar to the very well known M-14. I might be wrong but I believe it was the precursor to the M-14. Now there are a ton of variants of the M-14 out there most of which spawned from the original AR-15 design.

and this is only the beginning. How many of you have seen Tanks driving around ? There were two in lansing michigan a couple days ago. They said it was a drill ? but they drove down a mainstreet of a ghetto neighbourhood.
