Since banks now essentially have unlimited liquidity, it won't cause a bank run, but it will allow our people to jump the inflationary nightmare coming in september by using the still useful paper to buy actual assets.
A little dangerous...
...don't you think? Not that many will respond to this but think of the consequences. The panic caused by a run on the banks would drive this falsely propped up financial system onto it's back. Banks could fail, people could lose EVERYTHING. It could plunge us into an early depression.
If you think it's bad now, wait till everyone finds out that 'posse comitatus' has been repealed and federal troops are patrolling the streets. Then you'll see why GWB is trying for broader 'emergency powers'.
I know some think that hastening the fall will benefit a RP campaign but I think the downside is greater than acceptable.
