How did you find out about Ron Paul???

To tell you the truth, i don't remember exactly how i came across Ron Paul.

Believe me.. i was the most politically apathetic individual you could find.

Around October 2007, i was casually browsing youtube and somehow came across this video: Ron Paul - A New Hope.

Why did i click on it? Only God knows. But i did.

That's it. End of story. I was sold forever.

After doing more research, my apathy completely disappeared. I'm empowered and informed now.

Since then i've converted a lot of my friends.

I'm a greencard holder (2 more years till I get my citizenship)... But i got a lot of my citizen friends to:

a. donate
b. vote
c. become a delegate

I now watch the MSM closely.. and geez... before Dr. Ron Paul stepped into my life, I never knew (or really cared) how manipulative the MSM really are.

Well... I could go on and on about this. I'll cut it short and say the following:

1. now i know what liberty truly is. (and it's not the current USA)
2. thank you thank you thank you thank you Dr. Ron Paul from the bottom of my heart. you have given me some answers and refreshed HOPE!

and i love all Ron Paulites :-)

in about 1977, after I read the book "None Dare Call It Conspiracy", a book given to me by a co-worker.
I began to look for people that were freedom-oriented at that time, and did alot of research and reading about it.

I've been at this game for a long long time.

I have an account on meet up dot com and have it set to send me info as new groups are formed near me dealing with a few subjects.

On May 7th, I received an email about a new Libertarian group. I then looked at RP's website, and May 8th I joined the group........

I was at a Marijuana rally for a group that was collecting signatures to legalize marijuana statewide when someone approached me and told me he would sign my petition if I listened to him for a moment.

He told me all this stuff about Ron Paul that I just didn't believe at the time. He told me about a man who wanted to end income taxes, end the drug war, end the Iraq war and a bunch of other stuff. At the time I liked Bill Richardson but I went home and was going to look up RP when my roommate started to tell me about a congressman that he had seen on Bill Mahr that sounded really cool. Again it was RP.

It didn't take much research before I developed a 'man-crush' on my new favorite person.....

The rest as they say.. is history.

Thanks to the unregulated market of satellite radio (which will soon change if the government decides to let XM and Sirius merge), Bubba the Love Sponge and his crew on Sirius 101 used to talk regularly regarding the platform and ideas of Ron Paul. Basically they stated that the American public is ignorant not to pay attention to his message and support it 100%. I tend to agree looking at the poll results over the primaries.

From there I went on the web and was addicted to the freedom message and was relieved that there was finally a politician that was speaking from his heart and not the teleprompter. In fact, I was watching NONE of the debates until I learned about Ron Paul back in January or so on Bubba’s show.

Since then I have been a full-fledged supporter of the greatest politician in my generation and converted many more.

I found out about Ron Paul through newstarget.com, now called Natural News.com. I'm fed up with the FDA, fed up with Big Pharma having too much power, fed up with them trying to take away our right to use alternative medicines/cures. I also did not like what I've been seeing happening in this country, with our rights being taken away, one by one, step by step...
The more I learned about him, the more I liked...something so rare today, a politician with ethics...

Read his column on Worldnetdaily each week and started reading his blog. He kept going on about this Ron Paul fella, and the more I read, the more I realized that Dr. Paul's views of the Constitution, foreign policy, and monetary policy mirrored my own, and I started reading more and searching the web. I have been an unhappy Conservative for a long time now (since George Bush I) and in Dr. Paul I saw a chance to really bring my Party and my country back on the right track.

My husband had a friend over working on my computer. I was bitchin about my all the money took out on taxes -Husbands friend whips out a slimjim from his back pocket and says "how mad are you?" I was hooked from there
