The Revolution for Freedom Festival is really kicking our butts. So many phone calls and email messages we are having a hard time keeping up with all of the information. Believe me we are not ignoring your calls but there is so much that has to be done and contracts made and signed it is a full time job getting it all set up.

We have so many new additions to the roster that are exciting speakers and entertainers. Michelle is staying busy arranging accomodations and setting up equipment plus taking reservations and Kathy is working her fingers to the bone with press releases, notifications and contacting people who we think you will enjoy hearing from. She is working on some really big name entertainers now, just as soon as the contracts are signed you will be notified who these people are. We were happily surprised that many of these formidible stars are Ron Paul Fans. We will have to pay for their transportation and accomodations but that is the only cost which is unbelievable for this calibre of show people.

The Grannys will be at the Nascar Races on Memorial Day week end so expect a lot of photos and excitement from that event. We will be flying the Ron Paul Flags along with some that were made just for us saying: Granny Warriors for Ron Paul, Chris Johnson has done a wonderful job on these flags and we appreciate his support and help with the Revolution. Everyone needs to get some of these flags to fly at the Revolution March on the 12th of July in DC. That would be a real eye catcher if people were carrying these big beautiful flags.

Speaking of the March, we hope everyone that can will be there and everyone that cannot afford that long trip and costly accomodations come on out to Sturgis. The Campsites are still free ( tents) and the RV hook ups are very cheap as are the cabin rentals. The events going on at the festival are entirely free, we charge no fees for the entertainment or workshops. Some of the people will have booths where you can buy T shirts, books and some interesting items but we collect no fees from these sales. There will be food vendors there plus we will be running the main kitchen so your meals will be very easy on the pocket books. Good old southern cooking, we are leaving the fast food items to the vendors.

The biggest day will be on the 3rd when the Lakota Indians will be performing all day with their tribal dances in native American dress. What a show that will be. The end of the day will be a great dinner cooked by the women of Buffalo Stew and Fry Bread. If you have never tasted this it will be a real favorite of yours forever. Have you ever had the opportunity of enjoying a Sweat Lodge? This will be your chance.

On the Fourth we will be having a huge BBQ with open pit cooking which will make everyone hungry from the smell of good food cooking all day long. We will be serving plates with the BBQ and southern cole slaw, home made baked beans ( from scratch) and a good slab of home made corn bread. This will be absolutely great and no one will go away hungry. We do need to know how many of you will be eating this meal so we have plenty of BBQ on hand. The meat takes all night to cook so it can't be added to quickly. To accomodate everyone we will be cooking for 2 whole days just to have enough to go around. Thank goodness for some good cooks willing to watch those cookers 24 hrs a day. The entertainment will be starting around 4 PM so that will give everyone time to play all day and get cleaned up for dinner and the show.

Get your reservations quickly so you will be sure of a space at the camp. If we run out of spaces there is another camp close by that can be used so no one will be left out in the cold. We have over 23,000 people who have said they are coming, this will be huge and we have several TV and radio stations which will be covering some of the events..

How about sky divers on opening day all flying Ron Paul Flags ? Yep that is being arranged. What a show... Thanks to John for arranging this.

How about a kite making contest ? Prizes for the best looking and best flying Ron Paul Kites.

There is just too much to remember but it is all on the site. The site has to be updated almost daily to keep up with all the events that you all are sending in to us. Thank you all for your help and assistance in making this event one of a kind and something we will all remember.

Every dollar you donate goes directly to the event not our own use or needs. The organizers never use these funds for their own purposes. That is why our events have always been transparent and open for inspection by anyone. We are not out to make a profit but only to make a difference.
