I can't believe it, he said he ran into tons of people talking good about the dictator. Do they only offer dial up out there or what. These people have a ten lane highway being built by stealing people's land through the middle of the state that is about to run up in all of us. I heard Bush bought the Texas Rangers for a small sum when they had no stadium to play in, became governor and raised taxes to build the Texas Rangers a stadium and then sold them for a whole shitload more than he paid, Texas loves him, I am in complete shock. Keep up the great work everyone.

I don't know where your friend visited,
but in my part of the great state of Texas there are very few Bush fans.
Also note that our real estate market has not tanked, we're not in the "rust belt" and our general economy remains strong.....So many in Texas haven't started to feel the pain of all this gov't. They're still comfortable and haven't started to ask questions yet; don't hate the sheeple.
I will say that we are fighting the state on the NAFTA superhighway...And I believe we're making progress. The media has started covering it; we've had informational meetings in counties all across the afftected counties; we've had large numbers of counties, cities, school districts, hospital districts, etc openly and officially oppose the corridor; people have woken up on this issue and many of us are leveraging that into getting the RP/freedom message out to the sheeple.
Tell your friend that he just met some losers that don't represent the rest of us. Oh, and if your friend isn't "from here" then many would consider it impolite speak about a Texas president (liked or not) to "forieners" from other states.....Sorry that's just the way it works here.
Working hard and making progress here....But the neo-cons are well entrenched. It will just take more time and effort.
