I think I see a pattern here. NeoCon strategy

I have recently watched the movie American Drug Wars, The War Profiteers, and now A/K/A Tommy Chong http://www.akatommychong....
I think I can clearly see a pattern here in the NeoCon strategy and it involves concern that there will be a revolution similar to what was seen during Vietnam. I think NeoCons are concerned that the American public will revolt soon if we move towards a North American Union, and try to take more of the Middle East. It appears that they are going after counter cultural icons and have targeted Marijuana as a large component of the 60s revolution. As a result they are increasing the war on drugs spending and going after cultural icon. The oddest icon to take out was Tommy Chong from Cheech and Chong. It seems that Tommy Chong's children had made a company selling Glass Paraphernalia that is not illegal in any state except PA, and somewhere else. The Glass Paraphernalia was called something like the Chong Bong. The DEA staged an entrapment case against this company in which despite this company having a policy to not ship products to PA, they tricked them by coming to the company in CA and ordering items that were out of stock and them asking them to ship them to PA. Anyway, watch the movie for details.
The NeoCons plan is to marginalize any cultural icons that may be leaders of any counter cultural revolt against these war mongers.
It is really something to think about especially when you see the movie American Drug war where it is proven the US Government was distributing drugs such as Cocaine from Nicaragua in order to fund the Iran Contra arms.
I am not the best at forming conspiracy theories as I think a number of these are crocks, but I do see a pattern here

Here was their strategy

Proven time and time again to work:
1) Make a ban on something people want (alcohol, drugs, guns, etc.)

2) Sit back and watch as all hell breaks loose because only criminals are smuggling in all the banned materials (the subsequent turf wars, government involvement for profit, unsafe drugs, guns, hookers etc.)

3) The government says they need more police to combat all the new crime from their bans

4) The police are sitting idle most of the time so the government feels it's their duty to give them something to do otherwise the policemens paycheck will be reduced or they'll be laid off.

5) Voila! War on Terror, War on Poverty, War on going five miles over the speed limit, random checkpoints for sobriety, Subway paramilitary cops , Child Protection Services (basically all your rights flushed down the john)

6) The honest citizen is more afraid to drive anywhere because of all the policemen and snitches ready to pounce for some breach of behavior.

7) Either the controlling politicians get away with thier attacks on our freedom or the people rise up and demand an end to the laws that reward criminals and punish citizens. We have that choice right now.

Clearly outlined

Good comment.

I suspect...

That your train of thought is probably very very close to the truth. The war on drugs has always been a divider. Breaking up comunities so that possible reb ellion was muted by the oppressive conditions that are a direct consequence of the drug war. Plus the war offers a means to control taste, to control the actions of people and in so doing places us into a subservient position where after 30 or so years we passively accept shittier and shittier laws that they force up our behinds.

What is most disturbing is

What is most disturbing is this goes right to the executive branch and they have no problems lying about every component of being caught in the strategy

I think they are going to crash

the economy and tell us the NAU is the only way out!

Probably right.

And that's the time we inform them that we no longer require their services in our government, since they've failed.
