Ron Paul's First Action as President

Its the coolest feeling when the "light bulb" goes on and someone realizes what the hell your saying. The reporter behind Dr Paul is captivated. That is just soo cool to see. I know Dr Paul has got to get a kick out of it, but its great that our next president will not only be a Leader, but a TEACHER.

If I read the Constitution right, the president only becomes Commander in Chief upon a formal declaration of war by the Congress. Without that, there is no C-I-C. So I think our friend is mistaken.

Not that it matters; Bush had no problem ordering our Army and Navy around, and I don't think Dr. Paul would either. Same with every president going back to Roosevelt, who did go to Congress for a formal declaration. Nobody else bothered.

I don't know where this nice video was shot, but it's good and fun to see. This is the kind of casual session that would make for a great TV spot.

This was an excellent video; he looked very relaxed and Presidential. I can picture him surrounded by his cabinet, talking in a similar tone, hammering out a brighter future for America. Good stuff.

Seriously, even at this most relaxed setting with maybe a dozen people within earshot of him (don't know what is behind the camera), he mesmerizes and opens minds to things no ones used to hearing.

How can ANYONE listen to this man's responses and NOT see the clear logic in them?! Just proves that "common sense" is NOT so "common."

And I can tell to all of You: Dr. Paul is the only one of all the politicians who can speak that openly and frank!

And why?
BECAUSE HE HAS A CLEAN VEST!
HE HAS A CLEAN RECORD!

No one, none of the different intel agencies can blackmail this integer person!
I wish we had people like him in my country!

What all these terrified (and terrifying) neo-cons fail to understand is that our national defense would be MUCH STRONGER under a Ron Paul presidency. Ron Paul would focus our military on what it should be focused on: defending the lives and liberties of United States citizens. Think of how much time, money, effort and manpower is wasted on policing the world! If you are fearful of terrorism, bring the military home and defend our country! And then practice peace and self-defense. Not war and aggression.

Ron Paul's military philosophy is STRONG. The military philosophy of George W. Bush and the neo-cons is WEAK.

I want a strong philosophy of wise, prudent, focused, assertive self-defense.
