Why is there not a site setup that confirms peoples votes in the primaries?
Yes I've always wondered how RP won the debates on tv convincingly and that 70+% of americans wanted out of Iraq and he still lost to John McInsane. Was of course thinking Diebold bs. But part of me thought about the willfully ignorant or just plain ignorant sheep that might have voted differently. But even then it still makes no sense. So as I see 1/2 of americans are unsatisfied with the 3 candidates, I again ask how this happens. Just wondering if there is a site, or if not why, that is setup to confirm primary votes against the Diebold results. I am sure there will be some slight inaccuracies, but it would give a close approximation of what the results really where.

I agree, but,
Really the only way is to count the votes in public...since you don't live in a constitutional republic you don't get that kind of treatment.
We're more like Haiti. Take what they give you or die.
Nothing's guaranteed.
I've discussed this with quite a few people and the consensus is that there's almost no way to guarantee authenticity. We have our complex currency being counterfeited, why not a receipt? If we say it's valid (and it actually is) what's to stop someone else from saying it's not. No proof - especially once it leaves any officially secured area.
I'm working on a project to address this a different way. We could still use some high volume database experience though. Can anyone recommend someone?

Well, now, just explain your idea of a site
Do you mean voters call in and tell how they voted or what??
I think we should all get a
I think we should all get a receipt, if nothing else. A receipt that shows the time, the place and the vote.
Yup !
If it's a voting machine, it should spit out a time stamped receipt with your vote on it. If the voting booth is paper ballots, it should have a serial number and a tear-off carbon copy you can keep.
