The Alcpac have already done a great deal. Theyre running nearly 100 ads in Idaho.
We need more to compete with McAmnesty and really blanket Idaho. This is an open primary in a VERY CONSERVATIVE state. Our best chance to finally win a state.

In Very Conservative States like PA
about 40 ads got us 16% of the vote.
In a very Conservative state like Idaho we may need 2 or 3 times as many ads. At least 120 ads running.
pls help our friends from the Alcpac make winning a reality.
To guarantee Dr Paul a chance to speak at the Republican Convention we need to win at least 1 state. pls Im pleading donate even $10 if you can. The more you put in it the better.

This ad is ok but
He looks terrible in it and I believe it focuses on things that might not be as relevant to them. I know it has been shown and you have worked real hard on it so I will pray that it will reach people, but I just don't know. I really loved the one comparing Ron Paul with Ronald Reagan. The one comparing him with MLK Jr. could have been used in other states. Oh well, keep on doing all of your hard work and good luck.

But I also have to be honest. Sorry for that! I happen to be a 51-year-old lifetime Republican with a lot of lifetime Republican friends. I know what their issues are. But, I also know that you have all worked real hard on this so I pray that it will work out and be a great success. That is all I am saying. Give me a break.

Overall in this state of Idaho if say two people are in front of each tv and they all see the ad and go and vote for Ron Paul thats like 292,000 votes!!!! Thats a lot!!!! I mean we could really win this state!!!! I mean we very possibly could win it! Why didn't Ron Paul bring his campaign here though?

Still need about $200. The Idaho Falls zone went a little over budget. Please donate if you haven't already and we'll get this finished off tonight/tomorrow morning.
South schedule finalized
Got the south schedule finalized. Man, we are getting awesome rates!!!!!
The Boise market covers Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, Eagle and Kuna. 2/3 of Idaho's population live within this area, however not everyone has cable. But this area has about 90,000 CableOne households. 90 spots, 10 channel spread @ $30/ea = $2,700.
The Idaho Falls market is the 2nd largest populated area in the state, and we'll be in about 31,000 households. 64 spots, 10 channel spread @ $14/ea = $896.
There wasn't enough to go into Pocatello or Twin Falls, but we have the vast majority of the populated areas covered.
In total we're getting the ad aired 216 times in the state!!

I just got the northern schedule for Coeur d'Alene, Silver Valley, and Sandpoint. 62 spots running for 5 days before the primary.
Note from cable rep: "Coeur d’Alene and Silver Valley are combined. You will be getting the same schedule in Silver Valley as in Coeur d’Alene except the networks of MSNBC and CNBC. We save election day for makegoods, any spots missed from the flight will be moved to 5/27".
We'll be in about 25,000 cable households in the north. We're dropping $1000 on the north and $3500 in the south. South should be a couple hundred thousand households.
I upped the southern budget to $3,500. We need $200 to hit that goal (Paypal fees lowered our total). Anyone care to help out? Need it by tonight or Tuesday morning at the latest.
With this we should be able to move east into the Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls Interconnnects. This will be addition to the Boise market (not Boise Interconnect).
So in total we'll be spending $4500 in Idaho.

If the campaign had been running ads like these, we would have won.
IT's important that we win at least 1 state. And with Idaho being an open primary -- plus the conservatives there are largely anti-Bush (at least up North they are. "Bush is a Liberal" is a phrase I heard a lot of when I was visiting my parents last summer.
Butch Otter was in district 2 before he was governor and was called "The Ron Paul of Idaho" openly, so he's already got name Recognition down in the southern part of the state. The northern part gave us Helen Chenowith (A John Birtcher who was honest and unfortunately kept her promise to term limit herself.) Conservatives in Idaho are hopping Mad that McCain is the supposed Nominee, Plus Democrats and Independents who didn't vote in the Dem Caucuses all like Ron Paul much more then any other Republican.
If every person who has cable in Idaho could see this ad at least once. It'd be awesome. We'd win.
I wish Ron Paul would make an aperence in Idaho, that would clench it.

We should have a lot more than that when it's all said and done. Some will be running in non-prime time slots which are cheaper than $30. In Philly we only did a handful of prime times out of the 50 we ran.
