Voted for Ron Paul today...finally.
Oregon finally gets to vote for their choice for president. After almost a year of support and roller-coastering emotions, I finally got to vote for the only presidential candidate that I feel represents me. Good luck to Ron Paul in the primaries today!

voted for ron paul today...finally!
congrats to you for voting your conscience and for obviously the ONLY
candidate to vote for...lol!
what a great feeling eh?
Me TOO!!!
My husband and I both voted for Dr. Paul today here in Kentucky. I was very proud to cast my vote and after a long battle to win over my hubby, he finally voted for our good Doctor too! So I am doubly proud! LOL
Good Work!
It's a battle just winning over friends and loved ones, I know.
Well done!!
It's been a while since I got to vote for the Dr. in the Michigan primary - what a rush. Afterwards, I stood in the snow holding my revolution banner high! He *is* already my president regardless of the outcome of the herd election.

Thank you.
It feels good voting with your conscience.

The American Revolution 2.0 will not be televised... It will be downloaded!!!
It will feel great
I should be voting around 5pm today, and it's the first time i've actually felt in my heart I know the right decision.
What will be even sweeter is tomorrow (or whenever I get around to it) when I get to disavow my GOP membership...I only signed up to vote for the good doctor, and now I can wash the slime off and be an independant again.
Maybe the GOP will stop sending me their propeganda now...although I doubt it.
Have you considered ...
staying a Republican to help reprogram your local GOP?
No
No...a few reasons
Don't want to be counted as among their numbers, I have always been proud to have the independant title on my voter's registration. The GOP hasn't represented my values in my lifetime, maybe 50 years ago but not now.
Also, there isn't much in the way of GOP folks in my area...I live in a very sparsely populated area, I was one of about 300 votes in my county for the GOP primary. Also...unfortunately...not much room for educating these people. I've tried talking to these people...lights are on but no one's home.
I'm also an outsider in my area...i'm a Detroit refugee living in KY and am viewed very much as an intruder to a county where 90%+ were born and raised.
I have made some inroads into re-allowing alcohol sales, and I hope to get a vote on the ballot soon. Freedom is a tough concept for a county still living in prohibition.
My first time...
At almost 50y/o, I just registered to vote for the first time!! And, I got to vote FOR someone, instead of AGAINST someone. The doctor cured my apathy...I guess I just never felt it worthwhile to vote before...we are now at the brink, and I think it's time.
Good luck, Oregonians...I hope you do better than our lousy 7%. I'm looking for 77% out of you!!!

Recently awakened, always vigilant.
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!
Just maybe...
I heard a large percentage of Oregonians switched to Democrat to be able to vote for Hillary or Obama, since the republican nominee is "already decided". That might give us an edge...maybe. I don't know about 77%, but I did what I could do. I even got to write my name in for a precinct committeeperson. That was really cool too.
My daughter was SOOoo excited,
that her name appeared on the same page as Ron Paul's name on the ballot!
Could you explain the Oregon process to us a bit?
Fortune Favors the Bold
Oregon is the only All Mail-In Ballot State--
The Ballots are mailed out May 1st, and we have a closed primary, Republicans only get Republican ballots, and the Dems get Democratic ballots. April 28th? was the last day to change your party affiliation.
Some people mail their ballots in right away, so any campaigning after the first week in May was wasted effort and money. I Hate it!
Me Too!
You took the words right out of my mouth.
I'll be voting today in
I'll be voting today in Kentucky for the most honest man in congress. Only my third time to vote. Last two times were for Bush. I must make amends.
I know when I voted
for Dr. Paul a while back what a good feeling I had, NEVER had that good feeling voting for anyone else in all my years. I didn't have to settle. Peace
